My Accomplishment And Failures So Far In The First Half Of 2022 And My Expectation For The Second Half.

Welcome to my blog and another wonderful contest of the campusconnect Community, our sincere gratitude to the campusconnect team for their continuous support and efforts to keep us active on the blockchain. This contest is quite an interesting one, makes one to realize how far they have come, if they are making progress or not.

Every time I hear about accomplishment I am quite happy whether I was the one that accomplished a thing or not, things don't always go as planned therefore if one is able to accomplish a thing then everyone should be happy and celebrate with that person because it was not easy to make that dream come true.

My Achievements And Failure In The First Half Of 2022.

It's quite painful when you realize you could not achieve all of your aim/goals but in all we thank God for the ones we were able to achieve, I had lots of plans at the beginning of the year but ASUU embarking on strike changed the direction of everything but regardless I was able to achieve some goals. Below are few things I was able to achieve in the first half of the year.

• Getting Myself a Laptop:

I have always longed to own a laptop of my own to help with blogging and even the digital skill I was learning, I needed a laptop to practicalise what I have learnt so far, from my little little earnings and a huge support from my dad my dream of owning a laptop was achieved early last month.

Many might not see this as an accomplishment but for me this is huge and is one of my plan from the very beginning of the year, and I am glad I was able to achieve this.

• Successfully Completed My Graphics Design Class: As a result of ASUU embarking on strike, I was made to take up a skill acquisition and I went for graphics designing, after three months of intense lectures from my tutor I wrote my exams last week Friday and currently waiting for the results which will be released tomorrow.

It was quite difficult to achieve this one though I never planned for it but ASUU strike gave me the opportunity to do so and I ceased it.

Failures.
More failures recorded than my accomplishments and this is disheartening.

• At the begining of the year I aimed for at least 1500 Steem power before the half of the year elapse, from the look of things I am still very far from achieving this and the time limit I set has elapsed already.

• Due to the ASUU strike I have not been able to move forward in my academics, when I got admission my plan was that by this time I should be in my 400 Level but due to the pandemic lockdown alongside ASUU strike I am still a 200 Level Student and it breaks my heart.

• The Financial Aspect Of My Life: I actually had plans of attaining financial stability before the end of the first half of 2022, well this was not accomplished as I am still facing a lot of financial challenges but I won't give up on my dreams of attaining financial stability.

My Expectations for the Second Half Of 2022.

I have lots and lots of expectations for the second half of 2022 and attaining financial stability supercedes all of them, I have been longing to attain financial stability so that I can foot my bills when the time comes without calling on anyone or depending on anyone, therefore I expect an opportunity that will help attain financial stability in the second half of 2022.

I also want to round up with my studies and do the needful with my life, I expect that the Academic Staff Union Of Universities (ASUU) calls off their strike in this second half of the year to enable us round up school.

I also expect opportunities to learn more skills, i really want to learn so as to help me diversify my source of income.

What Will You Do In The Second Half To Make Things Work Well?

There's a lot that I need to work on in the second of the year so that things can go well for me.

• Concentrate On My Goals: I was distracted by a lot of things, I placed the wrong things as priorities but in this second half I am making my goals my priority.

• I will be making use of the skill I have acquired to make designs for customer to enable me earn a little and hopefully it goes a long way. I will just do the best I can while God does the rest.

Conclusion.

In a nutshell, it is only one's consistency and determination that helps them to accomplish their dreams and goals, so we shouldn't give up or let go of our dreams but instead we should chase our dreams with all that is In us.
