What is a Hustle :

In a simple English term a Hustle is actually a work we do to provide for our needs or to provide for our loved ones and family.
With this simple definition I believe we can explain what Actually is a side hustle.
A side hustle in my own understanding is like a plan B as many call it , it is a kind of work we do when we are off in our main know work we do for example like a Banker who works in a bakery during the weekend .
In most cases this act is not done because they find it easy to do.
In my own research and understanding is done to assist with the money we make in our main work so we can be able to provide for ourselves as it has to be.
Perhaps this act is also found not only in the society but also in the school premises where students combine their studies with a side Hustle to make ends meet.

• WHAT IS YOUR SIDE HUSTLE:

In Nigeria today, the economic situation of the country has gradually brought doom to so many families that they find it hard to feed and also carter for their children in school .
These has made so many students like me to look for a side hustle in school that can be bringing in money to our pockets to avoid the risk of missing out on things in the place of our study because of not being financially stable.
As a student who is coming from a home where my parents is a civil servant which they are been owed for months before paying them their salary ,this attitude from the Government has really made live do difficult for me and some fellow students who are in the same situation as mine .
Perhaps I already had a side hustle I was into even before I got admission into the tertiary which this side hustle was to create a portrait art drawing Which I must say has really helped me a lot as a student schooling in Nigeria .
well I will say I'm definitely good at making good art works most especially when it comes to Creating a portrait drawing,though I am an engineering student ,we all know what it cost to be an engineering student both financially and academically . By God's grace I have always been so focused and determined in managing myself with my side hustle.

• How do I merge both side hustle and education on Campus.

In every thing we have done in this life that
has been successful they was actually a proper time management that helped to facilitate what ever we did, so in this case I would say with the type of side hustle I do and the course I study in school.
I usually make good use of my time In a way I don't get distracted.for the past few years, I started this my side hustle in school I made it so easy for myself for me to combine both my study and my side hustle at this same time,in a way that any time I have a free learning day I make use of it to create my portrait drawings which are been paid for and also I make while taking a commission work i make sure that I demand more duration to make the drawing for the client to avoid rush and excess work load on me . In the educational aspect I always try my best to maintain my standard as a student who is studying in engineering which I must say has not been easy perhaps I try my best to go through my note and text books at night and also my assignments given to me.
Honestly I must say it hasn't been so easy for me but I have no choice than to do it so I can be able to sustain my self through the campus.

• HOW MANY HOURS DO YOU WORK A WEEK ON YOUR SIDE HUSTLE.

Time na money
As we all know time is money that is how time is so precious that is shouldn't be wasted for any reason. Both academically and financially time has a very big role to play.
In everything we do we always have a duration of time it take us to accomplish what ever we want that is applicable to my hustle I try my best that I respect the time I have doing my side hustle.
Most times people do ask me how many weeks or days can I finish up a portrait drawing.
Well I must say this question is usually asked by my client's ,well I will say the larger the work the longer the time the smaller the work the lesser the time .
Most times I spend one week duration in
my drawing and then deliver depending on the size like I said earlier.
In conclusion I will like to advice my follow students who are Actually finding it difficult to carter for themselves financially on campus,They should look for a side hustle instead of suffering and also desist from taking what belongs to someone else because they can't afford it .
