My purpose here today is about giving a brief summary of how the promoted steemit in University of port Harcourt(uniport) Campus went.

INTRODUCTION

For the past one few weeks now, some of my colleagues and i have taken a bold step in the aspect to promote steemit in university campuses to share the good news about steemit platform to our fellowb under graduate and graduate both on the streets and in campuses to help keep youths vibrant in doing something good with there free time and also to reducing the rate of fraud/scam,pick pocket cultism and other violent crime in the society.
some weeks ago , we made a trip to Rivers State University of port Harcourt to share this knowledge and educate others about this great platform. Below is as detailed comprehension on how it all work out .

UNIVERSITY OF PORT HACOURT(uniport)

Well, It wasn't my first time of being to the school i hav been there severally so when we got to the school, I continued my melt some primary school friends which i did tell them about steemit from where I stopped in my last visit.

The name steemit seems too strange to most of them, so we did a active job in educating, convincing, and also creating an account for them.
We all know that not everyone will be interested in listening to you because they think you're there to scam them or deceive them into joining a fake platform where their time and resources won't be productive.
So after a long stressful day of explanation and question answering, we finally registered some students who are been given extra lessons in our whatsapp group chat for newbies..

REASON FOR WRITING THIS POST

Sincerely speaking, the idea of promoting steem wasn't ours. It's like a program done in a community I belong to in steemit.
At first, I never thought of blogging it here but when I woke up this morning, it came to me that this steemit platform can go a very long way in saving some hard working youths in nigeria that have already fixed their minds on fraud to have a rethink since this is an avenue of raising some funds to assist oneself.
