Good evening to all members of this great community @campusconnect and greetings to the entire steemit community,am glad that this contest is holding at this point in time and frankly speaking,am glad to be a participant.

In as much as am not yet a Nigeria student due to some reasons which are personal,I must confess that Education and going to school is one thing I've aspired to do so much but with God by myself i believe that this year shall mot pass me bye.

Even though am not yet in school,but i have written JAMB a couple of times though finance was a barrier,but i really made thorough research bedore selecting the school of choice i wish too attend some day.

My aspired school is MICHAEL OKPARA UNIVERSITY OF AGRICULTURE,UMUDIKE,UMUAHIA.

School gate that is popularly known as gate 6.

LOCATION

Michael Okpara University of Agriculture,Umudike is located in the Agricultural Training and Research city of Umudike,about 10km drive from Umuahia,the capital city of Abia state,Nigeria.The only main road that leads to the university is the Umuahia-Ikot Ekpene federal road,a direct routine to the state capital of Ani a,Akwa Ibom and River States.

• It was established on November 1992 and started functioning on May,1993.
• First vice chancellor was Professor Maduebibisi O. Iwu
• The motto of the school is Knowledge,food and security.
• Color of the school is Green and yellow.
• The school nickname is Umudykes or U'dykers.

HOW DID I GET TO KNOW ABOUT THE SCHOOL.

After my WAEC,i applied for JAMB,and my school of choice was UNN,University of Nigeria,Nsukka,but they didnt give me admission,the next year i applied for Federal University of Technology Owerri,FUTO,still yet tgey didn't accept me,the third year,I applied for Federal Polytechnic Owerri,NEKEDE,still i didnt again admission,so finally I gave up. But one day I saw my secondary school mate and she told me she's schooling in Umudike,that i should apply there,so i listened to her and applied there,and that year I got admission but finance was a barrier,that was when i made up my mind to go to the school.

WHY DO I LOVE THE SCHOOL.

There are so many reasons to love the school bit below are few reasons for me personally.
• It is the only Federal University in my State,Abia state and for such we need to promote it.
• They offer my desired course which is the college of phyical and applied science ,computer science to be precised.
• Having lived in Babylon hostel with my girlfriend for a year in the school,I learnt so much about the school,I join her for lectures,night class and some other activities in the school,I must confess the lectures there are one of if not the best I've seen,and the school is affordable and very adaptable.
• Having heard so many rumors about cultism in so many school across my country Nigeria,Umudike still remains one of the best university with little record of cult practices.
• University premises is one environment where everyone is free to do anything they wish to do but trust me Indecent dressing which is one thing i so much hate is highly prohibited in this school,students living off campus are being sent back home at the school gate just becaise of indecent dressing and i love it.
• Lodges around this school is affordable so for someone like me who loves my privacy i can afford to pay for a room self contain just like the current one am living in now at akajiugo lodge in amaba,just 50k.
• Finally,having worked with a non academic staff who compiles the students result in computer village,I found out that exam malpractices and bribery are strictly punishable which is exactly what I expect from any school I will attend.

In conclusion,my aspired campus is one of the best campus in my country Nigeria.
Hope to meet a steemian in this school someday.
