Campus Diary: How i spent my weekend by @kemfon

Hello fellow steemians, I feel much excited cause everyday present us with awesome opportunities to explore. And I hope your weekend went well.

Waking up on a bright Friday morning filled with energy, sense of responsibility and strength, I got up did some home chores and prepared for a little lab work

scheduled for 8:00am, my resident is quite far from the school so I rushed up on time and landed in the school teren. Though it was disappointing that I couldnt start the work as earlier scheduled cause the engine that supplies power to the laboratory was faulty and on repairs.

Few hours after everything was set and I began by labeling the necessary glassware I needed since I was working on three different samples, weighed my sample and took record of everything in other to compile my reports. The aim of the work was to carryout antioxidant activity using DDPH Radical Scavenging and ferric reducing antioxidant power assay guide, and a UV device to measure the absorbance.

It took me about 4 hours to conclude, submit my report and then return home for the day.

On Saturday, mostly a free day to carryout laundry and also gather enough strength for the coming week, it wasnt an exception for me because I am a part time learner on fashion & designing. So Saturdays are often good for me to exercise my sewing and creative acrobatics.

I had a dress i needed to deliver to a friend who patronises me, so I woke up did alittle dry cleaning, ate and then started sewing. Later in the evening I made way to my uncle resident where I assist in some activities prior to the event that was scheduled for Sunday.

Sunday has always been a special day for me to give a super moment to God and it was spiced up with a birthday/thanksgiving service of my uncle and aunt. In the morning 🌄 hours different delicacy were prepared and packed in food coolers for the main event which took effect after the service at a resource center.

Since @davosimple lived close by I invited him and we both had a great time at the event center. it was a joyous moments for both couples to welcome their first baby boy and also celebrate a womb escape of his beloved wife. I was really staring at the cake 🎂because it was beautifully designed with eye catching colours that made me salivate.

It was fun fun all through and truthful love is a beautiful thing but my dear get money oooo
