08 SAFETY TIPS ON CAMPUS

Hi everyone Good evening from here, I’m happy to write here agin about something good and very important for you and me. I hope y’all had a wonderful weekend and already having a fun filled new week.

Today I’m giving out the best 10 Safety tips you should always keep around yourself while in campus. There are so many ways of preventing ourselves from being endangered than necessary or putting ourselves into possibly harmful states or situations.

We all know very well that it’s fun being on campus but at same time it’s easy to gain a wrong perception of security and sensations of safety when around friends or peers. After all, you may feel they’re just good students just like you, right? I guess it’s wrong.

It’s salient to accept and always remember that you don’t know who you can have trust on. While the ultimatum of danger may not be your first belief, it’s necessary to always be prepared if any situation ever shows up.

There are kind ways to prevent yourself from becoming more endangered than necessary. While we surely hope this situations won’t take place, it’s always best that we stay prepared for it if any happens.
Whether your a newbie in college or s returning student it’s always good to have safety at the back of your mind and below are listed the safety precautions that can help you avoid dangerous situations on campus.

1. Technology shouldn’t keep you unaware of your surroundings.
It’s okay and understandable that everyone needs a smart device like an headset or smartphones, but the moment you’re plugged in, you hardly exist anymore. You keep staring at you phone not giving listening ears to what’s going on around you. This in nature is exactly what you should avoid. When you notice you’re losing control of what’s happening around you then you’ll have to put off the headset or put the phone cool so you’ll sense what’s going on around you.

2 Avoid single movements at nights
There are times you basically need to check from one point to another but walking at dark hours alone is risky and it’s primarily asking for trouble. So you’re supposed to walk with someone should Incase something happens then you know you’re not alone.

3. Always keep an emergency cash.
It’s good having some cash with you just Incase your debit or credit cards isn’t available or the machine doesn’t pay at the moment. Nobody wants to be stuck in a spine-chilling situation because you’re not on enough cash to get yourself out of it as fast as possible.

4. Always make use of locks. it’s easy to become ease in campus life, but there are some habits you make standard. Keep doors locked especially when you’re asleep or alone. Aside being exposed to danger, it’s easy for burglars to access and starling might take place if access is easy.

5. Know your routes around campus.
It’s better if you study the campus surroundings very well and pay attentions to your surroundings. You need to Be familiar with the landmarks, streets around the campus to be able to know and navigate your way around and outside the area.

6. Avoid late night parties.
Staying at late nights parties is risky and you should ensure you have someone there with you and mostly someone you can trust but it’s not really okay that you put trust on anyone. You only have to keep time for everything and stay far away from late nights party.

7. Consider carrying a self defense course.
The probability of using this self defense apparatus is very low but having them with you can save life in harmful situations you might not be able to get rid of.

8. Keep Emergency contacts.
Keeping emergency contacts on your smart phones is important. It’s one of the first things that can help you out if admitted in the hospital which helps them bypass your security code and access contacts saved in it.
