The name of my school is Michael Okpara University of Agriculture Umudike, umuahia Abia state.My school is situated in an axis along the road from umuahia to ikot Ekpene.Its location is ten kilometers East of umuahia,the Abia state capital umudike and other host neighbors are agrarian communities.

My school came into existence on the 13th day of November,1992.When the federal government of Nigeria promulgated the federal universities of Agriculture.
My school has a seren environment and it deals majorly on agricultural courses like agronomy, forestry etc.
My school has so many courses the offer and their departments.

COLLEGES AND THEIR DEPARTMENTS INCLUDE:
COLLEGE OF NATURAL AND APPLIED SCIENCES (COLNAS).The departments include.
Biochemistry Dept
Plant science and biotechnology (psb)
Microbiology (Mcb)
Zoology (Zeb).
COLLEGE OF MANAGEMENT SCIENCE (COLMAS): Departments include:
Enterpreneurship(Entry)
Industrial Relations Personnel Management
COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING STUDENTS (CEET).They include:
Chemical engineering
Mechanical engineering
Agric engineering
Computer engineering etc,their are alot of them.

Any aspiring university candidate must be up to 16yrs(minimum age).
Entrance Exam unified Tertiary Matriculation Exam (UTME) must be taken organized by jamb.
The candidate must possess a minimum of 5 credit pass at the ssce.
