Success is what everyone wants to attain. Success in academic,in social life,in business and in steemit etc. Everyone wants to be referred to as successful man and woman. But in this article,the focal points are academic success and steemit success.

ACADEMIC SUCCESS

Road to success is narrow and crampy, success doesn't take place overnight and road to academic success is not exempted. As a student, you may face some academic challenges, challenges that might make academic success seem to be unachievable. But the truth is,there is no academic challenge a student can not scale through and attain success. What then is the key to success in academic?

Never give up: The main hindrance to a student's success in school is the belief of not having the requisites for success. Some may say: "I don't have what it takes to be successful", but that's not true, every student can be successful. If others can be, you too can be. So never give up on your academic dreams, believe in yourself, you can do it and you will do it.
Be motivated: A student needs to see the practical value of academic, this would motivate him. Knowing that academic helps a student acquire wisdom,and wisdom brings about success would motivate you to go for it.
Set academic goals: Attaining school without setting academic goals can be likened to engaging in a race on a track that has no finish line. But if you set a goal,you will stay focused and your transition to the working world would be smoother. Set goals such as making C your least grade, A and B in majority of the courses. Even if you don't achieve it on first trial,don't give up,be consistent, remember road to success is narrow and only those who are resilient achieve success.

STEEMIT SUCCESS

Success in steemit like success in other areas of life is not easy but very possible. A steemian who just joined steemit might believe that:"steemit favours those with more steem power",this belief is the main hindrance to success in steemit. Steemians with more steem power started from the scratch just like you, but how did they get the steem power?, Some bought steem and power up, while others gradually built their accounts by powering up their earnings and this took them months if not years,clear indication that success doesn't take place overnight.

Powering up from earning might make success in steemit seems unachievable, because a newbie may not earn much in a week and he may not have the finance to invest. The truth is success in steemit is achievable, but it may be delayed. I used to feel the same way too, but my mind is on the future,the future is bright.

Set goals in steemit, like the steem power you want to have in two months,three months etc, then work towards achieving your goal. Power up, cultivate power up culture. You May not have the exact steem power you set at the end of those months, but never give up,look at the number of steems you powered up and the ones you transferred within that period, check the number of steems you would have powered up to achieve your goal,then work towards powering up that amount or more in the period of your new set goal. You will surely get there one day.
