Self development is one of the greatest gifts a man can offer himself. It can be done personally or through the help of tutors. Tertiary education provides the easy access to getting in touch with classic tutors as well mentors. On that note, having tertiary education in a university that provides this services is indeed sacrosanct and also a great effort towards self development.

A top class university that boosts of this attribute with a taste of quality is undoubtedly the renown stanford university, united states, the third best university in the world. This is my dream university.

Stanford university is one of the oldest university in America, its located in california. It was established on 11th november, 1885. It has an academic staff population of about 2,270, and student population of about 35,000, making it a ratio of 16 students to one lecturer which id quite impressive.

why do you love it

The quality of education there is too notch, one of the best in the world, hence its rating as the third best university globally. They have one of the best research centres which is well funded by the US government, this affords students the opportunity to carry out their research works conveniently, while also being funded. In 2021, the school had a total research's expenditure of about 1.7b dollars, this goes to show the efforts that has really been put into research.

Being located in Bay area, california, its on of the most protected university in the world with heavy security presence, reason why news of insecurity does'nt come often from that end.

They also boost of one of the most voluminous library with a collection of over 300,000 special books, over 1 million ebooks, millions of audiovisual materials and lots more. This makes a worthy destination for bookworms like us who can't stay without reading books.

Do you think you can ever pursue a program there?

A song writer once wrote, if you believe it, you can achieve it. I believe nothing is impossible in life, with the right people around you, giving you the right information, anything is possible. I strongly believe that I will pursue a program there some day in the future, but definitely not a Bsc program as I'm currently in my final level in school. An Msc or Phd program there in the near future will be a great fit. Infact, I'm looking forward to that.

Education, be it formal or informal is the first step into exposure, hence, the quality of education we get tends to influence our height of exposure. therefore, its necessary and very good when you study in your dream university, and most importantly, studying the course of your choice.
