STEEMIT PROMOTION IN RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITIES || 10% BENEFICIARY SET TO @CAMPUSCONNECTNG

My mission here this morning is to give a brief summary of how the promotion of steem in river state campuses have been going so far.

INTRODUCTION

It's not a thing of doubt that everyone in this awesome community can give a clear explanation of what the word promotion is. So, I'll quickly dive into the narration straight ahead.

Well, in the past one month, me and my colleagues have taken it to ourselves to share the good tidings offered by steemit to our neighbors both on the streets and in campuses to help keep youths self employed thereby reducing the rate of crime in the society.
Last week, we made a trip to Rivers State University to share this knowledge. Below is a detailed comprehension on how it all played out.

RIVERS STATE UNIVERSITIES

Rivers State university formerly known as the University of science and technology is a School situated at Nkpolu-Oroworukwo in port Harcourt. It's a large institution that has taken it to themselves to promote Education in Nigeria.
Before our steemit motive visit, I've been to school just once so when we got to the school, i continued my exploration from where I stopped in my last visit.

The name steemit sounded so strange to most of them, so we did a very stressful job in explaining, convincing, creating an account, and also teaching them how to use the account.
We all know that not everyone will be interested in listening to you because they think you're there to scam them, and most of the females think every "please excuse me" is an "I love you statement in disguise".
The above statement is one of the reasons why I stopped talking to ladies about steemit.

So after a long stressful day of explanation and question answering, we finally registered some students who are been given extra lessons in our whatsapp group chat for newbies..

REASON FOR MAKING THIS POST

To be honest with you guys, the initiative of promoting steem wasn't ours. It's like a program done in a community I belong to in steemit.
At first, I never thought of blogging it here but when I woke up this morning, it came to me that this steemit platform can go a very long way in saving some hard working youths in nigeria that have already fixed their minds on crime thereby making this country a better place for us all. "Just a thought though".

In summary, I'll suggest we share this idea of steemit to more neighbors and in turn, it'll build our nation and also this community.
