PLOT

Inside the cabins were clothes, ladies clothes. Lily on the other hand was still in shocked,she was paralyzed on seeing all of this when Mr Ambrose voice came in asking her what she thinks , all she thought of where, why and how and she replied I don’t understand why is there a cabin full of ladies clothes and he told her not just clothes as he pulls up another pile and opened it Lillian eyes popped out as she saw a cabin of jewelry, parasols and umbrella, pearls, diamond, sapphire and rubies mounted on rings and necklaces.she stares at Mr Ambrose imagining if that is his twin brother and ask him if his feelings alright, of course replied the man tells her if I let you touch those be careful they are on loan if one damages I will let you work the debt till kingdom comes. Thank God his still himself lily thought . She watched in amazement as he opened more bags of mirrors , hand bags etc.

Lily when on to ask what it was all about and why female dresses instead of male or does it mean she won’t be working as a female in Egypt, me Ambrose answered sarcastically calling her Mr Linton first before saying a No he explains two men leave London and a man and a woman arrive at Egypt, if there are any of lord Dalegliesh men sent to watch him this would be a disguise. Lily had many questions which went against it but all she wanted was for him to call her MISS , Lily thought ,was this really happening she now asked if it means she will put aside her pretends of being a man , Mr Ambrose looked at her saying No she is a woman who is pretending to be a man and a man pretending to be a woman. Now this Lit up Lily inner fire she began to insult him and he asked what she wants , she replies I want you to not call me mister I want to be myself, a thriller of questions bust out as he asked does being yourself involve wearing this clothes now lily was short of words then he told her to keep her mouth shut up or his taking every thing away and walks out of the cabin .

Lily decides to wear the clothes and prove to him that she is a girl. The sailors came in to call Mr Linton for dinner that the captain has offered him a cigar that was right before he noticed that he was talking to a girl he requested pleadingly for Mr Linton as she answers that is me and that she has accepted the captain offer as he went out left in confusion. Lily did take the cigar and was puffing right in front of mr Ambrose. Well they got to Egypt and decided to stay in hotel. Lily asked if that’s necessary but indeed lord Daleglish might be on the watch for Mr Linton. The Receptionist asked what they wanted a room replied Mr Ambrose and the name asked the receptionist Richard Thompson and the man asked what his interest is with the young lady , he replied she’s my lovely wife as he placed a kiss to her cheek.
