The Victorian era , France in the eighteen hundreds
Lily Linton ,Mr Ambrose and captain carter
Plot
Captain carter couldn’t believe his eyes , he took few steps back to be sure of what he was seeing he ,asked Lily what she was doing and she told he him she went for a walk he looked at her with a weird asking a walk from London to Egypt, she just made it know to him that she actually went for a walk . He asked what she was doing at the part of the town she replied sight seeing and he was shocked due to type of place she was in , she told him she took a long walk and lost way but she will be home soon . He made inquiries on why she was here and she thought and thought before she lied and said she’s here with her grandma she exchange asked what he was doing here right before she remembered their last conversation and she knew she was f***.
Then he told her that he’s here for the bandit and Lily acted surprised pretending to not know anything about it and he told her he knows where the bandits are and his there to get more info and he still pretending told him that’s impressive and smart and he was acting all cool and boastful . Lily finally tried to excuse herself that she needs to be going now but he requested that he must escort her and might even meet her grandma but Lily shakes him off and told him she will be find and it won’t be necessary and he told her he won’t be able to live with him self if anything happened to her and he gripped her hand and they were off Lily turns back and thinks about Mr Ambrose and what he might think . They got to the hotel by exactly eleven pm and on the way Lily thought about how to manufacture a grandma from somewhere after they entered the corridor of the hotel Lily ran towards an old woman she meet in the dinning hall who was deaf shouting grandma and he introduced the lady as Frederica Linton asking if she isn’t charming and he replied yes while she introduced captain carter to her and all she did was nod but was giving signals to Lily towards her ear showing she is deaf.
So they talk about youth and their behaviors today for a while and all she did was grunt and captain carter decided to take his leave . As he left he told Lily his looking forward to seeing again and he kissed her hand he mentioned he will be going back to his own hotel , Lily felt a tingle on her hand which was kissed , if it was other guys she would have ran to wash it off but she felt different this time. So Lily left to thinking about Mr Rikkard Ambrose and what he might think as she walks into there suite a cold deep dark voice asked her if she can explain where she ran off to.
