My Campus in 10 Pictures - See Okezie School of Midwifery in 10 Different Pictures

Okezie School of Midwifery (OSOBMA) is the only school in Abiriba Abia state Nigeria that offers midwifery after a 3 year training. I am currently schooling there as a midwife and i am in my first semester of the second year. This morning i decided to go around the my school while taking pictures of different places in my school. the school is not to big, but their lectures are mighty. i had fun taking pictures of the infrastructures in my school and it was really amazing.

AMAEKE ROAD

the image above is amaeke road A biriba, Abia State. This road is a short route from where i live to where i school. it joins with Amaogudu road which is where my school is located.

SCHOOL'S SIGN POST

This is the sign post of Okezie School of Midwifery, it was changed recently due to accreditation from the Nursing and Midwifery Council Nigeria ( NMCN).

ENTRANCE

This is the gate of Okezie School of Midwifery.

POWER HOUSE

After crossing the gate of Okezie school of midwifery, by the left is the power house that supplies the whole school with light. This place is supervised by a student of my set that has been assigned the Director of utility.

LECTURE CLASS
there are three places where lecture takes place, they are;

1. Class 1 which is being used by the 2nd year 1st semester pupils (my set)

2. Class 2 which is being used by the 1st year 2nd semester

3. Class 3 which is being used by the PTS students.

CLASS 1

the image above is class 1 and it consist of the 2nd year 1st semester pupils. it is close to the principals office. to reach this place, follow the walkway after crossing the gate, go about 15-20 steps and then you will see it by the right

CLASS 2 AND 3

the top floor is for the year 1 second semester students while the lower floor is for the PTS students. To reach here, ypull have to follow the walkway straight.

THE REFECTORY

This is a place where food is prepared for the PTS students. Students of other years can come there and eat their food too (the school only cooks for the PTS students) during break time. It is located at the back of principals office

PRINCIPALS OFFICE

The door with a protector is the principals office while the other door that has one open with the other closed is another entrance to class 1

MALE HOSTEL

This is the male hostel. it is made exclusively for the PTS males while the males and females of other classes live outside the school. It is located at the back of lecturers office.

LECTURER OFFICES

The four doors represents the lecturers offices, counting from the right, the first door is the office of the vice principal academics, who also lectures. The second is for the vice principal, she too lectures. While the remaining offices are for normal lecturers. it is located opposite the principals office.
