The Univeristy of Nigeria is known to be among the top among its equals in the country. The Campus has stood the taste of time and has been known to has produced great scholars such as the likes of Late. Mrs. Dora Akunyili (of blessed memory) Dr. Charles Soludo(His Excellency Sir) and a host of other successful men and women. You can search the recent rankings of the college to see for yourself and appreciate the citadel.

The University over the years has been known to have changed alot of careers of students. A whole lot of destinies has been changed, many medicals doctors as aspirants ended up settling down for courses asides medicine and they have learnt to live with it.

A recent occurance transpired lately in my college. Almost half of the law students admitted into the college where sent letters from the school registrar assigning a new department to them all it was a day of wailing to alot of them affected. Desmond a friend of mine who sought law for 3 years and finally got the course was affected, he was so furious and disappointed. He visited the admin, registrar and ICT too. It could not be done it was a direct order from the V.C. He wanted to screen the department. This is a good example of a destiny changed. Today Desmond resorted to Sociology and he is really recovering from the disappointment. He is on a C.G.P.A of 4.87 a brilliant lad. He would love to use change of course to pursue his dream in the law department later this year.
