POOR ACADEMICS IN NIGERIA [PAIN]

Students In Nigeria are in a state worse than pain. The alarm blaring no hope and no future for an average nigerian student is so alarming. Its becoming so pressing. The Nigerian Students are all stuck at a spot most especially those in the federal institutions or universities. We live at the mercy of the heartless dictators called Political leaders. They are all bent on their political greed and let our future slide. We have always been the potential leaders of tomorrow only on the election manifestos and on paper to lure us to their feet. We are stuck with the PAIN : Poor Academics In Nigeria

History as a subject in our curriculum back in high school has finally been wiped out. We are now in the dark. They political leaders gradually erase their dark past from our young memories. They feed us with lies while hiding the history books from us, therefore we vote the wicked souls again and again and they bring up higher phases of their wickedness. I woke up feeling bitter and would like to be heard. This is a fight and we the nigerian youths must win. Let us fight PAIN : Poor Academics In Nigeria

Furthermore, our parents during their phase as students share with us most times me personally how a university graduate was a complete individual back then, he would always be an Icon and a model to the society. Today I'm afraid the reverse is the same. I got into an active discussion with my uncle last month when I visited him. I was commending students who graduate from federal universities as one of the best. He is regional bank manager of a big bank rather unclassified. He cut me short telling me that he has had encounters with lots of them. He said most graduates from supposed "best universities" in quote have lots of flaws. He told us of various people who could barely construct good sentences or even letters they write are filled with grammatical errors. I felt ashamed and dropped the argument. He said most couldn't as much as pitch a good memo for the board. Fight PAIN : Poor Academics In Nigeria

Academics in Nigeria is slowly going down the drain, students spend more time online making money or playing video games and less time with their books or academic materials. I feel the tension of illiteracy when I walk the streets and market places. Academics should be held in high esteem for better development in Nigeria. We need to stand up to this challenge. The appropriate authorities should handle this let our plea and our innocent voices be heard. Together We Say No To PAIN : Poor Academics In Nigeria. Reporting from UNEC Praiz
