Contest || My Experience on Campus as a New Student in my University

That faithful day I walked into the college, I could percieve serenity of nature as I walked into the den, University of Nigeria. I was so happy and gaped in awe as I walked in with my heavy box and bag pack. I could not stop admiring the monuments and beautiful structure. I stumbled severally due to my absent mindedness while admiring the college buildings. The road was tarred and so beautiful. The butterflies bubbled in my bellies once again as I whispered. I have arrived

• Who were some of the people you met during your first week in school?

During my first week in college I met Victor, Ivy, Daniel, and Precious. On the Second day, We had classes, the rush was massive a class of capacity of 300 students had over 700 students crowding the hallway and balcony to squeeze in. We pushed and pushed till there was a squealing and creaking noise on the balcony of Jimbaz! The railing where about to fall. We had to stand in a queue to avoid falling off the deck!

Ivy, stepped on me, I got mad and was about yelling, when she turned to apologize, I could not even reply, I was ravished by her beauty, that was how we kept stealing classes in class till the lecture was over. I walked up to her, we went talked and I had a new friend. She was very nice.

On the 4th day of the first week, I met Daniel who today is a first class student of accounting. He told me how serious he wanted to be, we happened to reside in the same area and Yes I am happy to have a study mate as Daniel.

Precious is the special one, I was in the UNN library on the 6th day precisely. The library is a castle! You need to see it for yourself too. I read my books so much so that I as so saturated, slept off and snoring and smacking my lips, disturbing the quiet library. She walked up towards me and tapped me gently asking if I was tired, with an affectionate smile....I rumbled and giggled and knew she was the one. "You need rest", she said and that was it. We walked home and the rest is history.

• Did you guys turn out to be greater friends in school ?

Of course, we turned out to be greater friends. I and Daniel are study mates. I and Victor, had good friendship back in the days. He is a football fan and we go to play football together, we also watch football together, cursing and shouting at our club footballers if they do not play well. We also argue Messi and Ronaldo. Victor is a vibe and a good friend too. My stay in campus on the first week was so interesting. I hope you enjoyed my blog.
