Campus Connect Engagement Contest Week 1 : THE ROLE OF VIRTUAL LEARNING IN UNIVERSITIES ACROSS THE WORLD.

The beauty of Virtual learning cannot be over emphasised. It is a life hack to acheiving a successful degree and an outstanding pedigree in a field of study. I would always appreciate the virtual learning process.

I would be giving answers to the following questions in parri passu with the rules of the contest.

Virtual learning is simply an approach towards learning which makes it easier to achieve knowledge in a field and a good portfolio without being present but by the use of the internet of other medium to get access to such information thereby producing geniuses in that field of study.

Basically, an average Nigerian Student is encumbered with the distress of waking up and making head way to a congested lecture room with little or no audio assistance thereby creating distraction and an unfit learning environment for the young lads. Priotize the virtual learning and it becomes clear how much improvement we would be seeing in our academic field today.

• Do you think your University will incorporate virtual learning into it's curriculum/ State reason for answer.

The University Of Nigeria is really giving traces of following this trend basically. It is no news that most private Universities imbibe the virtual learning aid into their curriculum and not long ago, we had virtual lectures too. The lecturer suggested it as a plan and told us that it would be sent to the Senate to sleep over the matter.

In view of this, I feel the college would inculcate the healthy academic process too. Stating reason of affirmation, "It covers a large horizon of the curriculum" where the words of a happy lecturer who commended the exercise, saying this I feel it would help speed up covering our scheme of work,as we see the Strike actions of the ASUU board slows our curriculum so much.

We had a fixed quiz on a course of study here in UNEC. It was literally 48hours to the test as fixed by the HOD for the department. So we met the junior lecturer and tables our complaint to him. He responded immediately, taking us on an impromptu virtual class.

This class was organized as a ZOOM class all students connected to the virtual class and the lecture started in earnest it was a night lecture which commenced at 6pm and ended at 10:30pm. This was really a good experience and in the nearest future would be the goal of my college.
