# WHY I LOVE UNIVERSITY OF CAMBRIDGE

I have never been there before but certainly there many things I love about this institution that got me attracted.
The fact that many schools here in my country are still good but they can never be compared to so many schools out there that probably are more focus on making the scholars know the value of education and also equip them correctly with enough practical knowledge. I have always wanted to have a degree in computer engineering and digital electronics.

These are the basic characteristics that made me love the Massachusett Institute of Technology

A

The fact that the school is a technology based school is enough reason for anyone who is interested in the field to be groomed in.it also has vast courses on engineering and has been offering my dream course for over a century.

B

The second reason is associated with the fact that the school has been there from the beginning of education and has a lot of experienced professors who are ready to give their students the best.

C

Over the years many celebrities have graduated from this university I will also list them as follows and also the courses they got.

(I will list only but 2)

• James Hugh Calum Laurei:
  He is an old and popular English comedian and actor he graduated in 1978 from the University of Cambridge, He studied archeology and anthropology. He was also nominated and won the award as the most viewed and paid actor of the year.
• Stephen Fry:
  Stephen Fry is also a comedian, writer and an actor too he graduated with an upper second class and studied English.

Another interesting and amazing part is that the university is that it also has over the years shock the word by producing world inventors and characters that changed many things and made life easy for man, People who have invented things.

• Sir Isaac Newton: He is popularly none for his works on the law of universal gravitational law. He began his studies in 1661 in the University of Cambridge.
• Charles Darwin, the father of evolutionary biology also graduated from the University of Cambridge.
• Michael Foale, the first British astronaut to take apart in a spacewalk. He graduated with a PHD degree at University of Cambridge.
  There still lost more of scientific inventors who graduated from the University of Cambridge making this great institution a nice choice for anyone who knows what he or she wants and also has the opportunity to school here.

Knowing the worth of getting educated here and also for anyone to get admitted he or she has to be intelligent academically inclined so as not to be left out.

If for any reason you cannot deny the fact that every one there is serious studying and the rest are being sorted by the teachers and school. The academic activities are never paused by any Academic staff union of universities and students are never delayed and never kept out of school for long time.

Employment opportunities are available for graduates who have a good grade from the school.

It is also respected anywhere around the world as one of the world’s greatest places of education.

There is no trace of academic calendar delay or pause due to delay in salary.

Every course its own practical sector and must done by the students.

Students get to have working experience according to there courses even while still schooling because there are many job opportunities over there.

Good learning environment is also their priority, to make sure a student learns well in his or her environment and also ensure safety.

LIMITATIONS ABOUT MY DREAM SCHOOL

In every good there is also seen bad, for nothing is made perfect.
Stating the limitation I see about my dream University will not make to give up or to turn down any offer on that, but to also understand that I will need to work hard and fix up things to be in order.
These are some limitations I drafted out:

• Racism:
  Racism is a big fight in the international society and comes in many ways both education and economically.
  In this context we are talking about education. In some schools abroad especially Cambridge and some others where some blacks find them selves, they tend to suffer racism from both the lecturers and also their fellow students and even the police over there. in this case you can find a black student being harassed by some white guys also students who think they own the city simply because they are citizens there and can protect themselves. Some times the blacks are also been robbed in positions as it comes to award of honor, they tend to accept and give the person on their race(English or white) instead of giving it to a random black man. And by so many are discouraged because it is also an emotional situation for anyone in that state.

• Cost of education:
  Its rare to see a school with such characteristics and also with low budget for school fees or tuition. It might be normal to the rich and those who base there but for us who probably are patching life over here and looking forward to have good education, it will be difficult also to meet up sometimes.

• IQ and level of education:
  Not really bad but I will say the level of education one from the highest university in Nigeria has cannot be multiplied by ten and equals to that of which someone from Cambridge. But still some one can still be as good as the best students in the school if he only does his active part by reading hard studying and doing the basic assignments. Before a Nigerian can be admitted he has to the necessary international examinations and failing means no hope for the person in question.

WHAT I THINK NIGERIAN GOVERNMENT SHOULD LEARN FROM THIS GREAT INSTITUTION.

It is true that we are not the founders of western education but we are practicing and also doing great. but in so many areas the government has failed and no room for explanation than to accept the fact that many countries are far better in education than Nigeria.

• There are also many Nigerians who school over there who make it and come back with good grades and degrees.
  My country should always learn the good not bad, the students here in Nigeria universities whish to be schooling outside Nigeria rather than being in this hell of a country.

• Educational calendar should be obeyed and followed strictly:
  So as other sets of students who are waiting to be admitted won't be discouraged about the schooling pattern, also this is where the strike and other academic delay attitudes comes in. Things like non payment of lecturers salary and wages, Non provision of appropriate schooling materials, mismanagement of National funds when it comes to educational sector.
