Scam Alert - Do Not Click On Any phishing Link Promising Your Free Steem or Airdrop.
Hello friends and welcome to campus connect blog, we are making this update to inform all campus connect members about a new scam alert live on the steemit blockchain.
Recently this user as indicated in the image below has been spamming the comments of campus connect members. Here he's promising free BitTorrent giveaway, but that is a lie. There is no such thing as free money on steemit, all assets must be worked for and earned by the hardworking steemian.
The link in the comment is a phishing link designed to steal your keys and get access to your account. Do not Click!!!!!!!!
The first rule of Steemit is: Do not lose your password.
The second rule of Steemit is: Do not lose your password.
The third rule of Steemit is: We cannot recover your password.
The fourth rule: If you can remember the password, it's not secure.
The fifth rule: Use only randomly-generated passwords.
The sixth rule: Do not tell anyone your password.
The seventh rule: Always back up your password.Store your wallet in a safe environment, in fact, it's best you store your keys offline. Storing your wallet online may be risky if you use an unsafe browser, poor online encryption, or even poor device security.
Do not share your steemit keys with third-party sites offering steem airdrop via phishing links. Do not share your password with anyone, they are your keys and yours alone.

Yeah, avoid clicking on any links promising free steem or any free coins. It's a Scam.
