Recruitment of New campus captains and New updates.

Hello friends and welcome to our community once again, we bring community updates concerning our campus captain project. We are restrategizing and making better improvements on how the program will run. Our target is focused on steemit promotion on campuses and this program will take us a step closer to our objective.

Who are Campus captains
Basically, a Campus captain is an active steemain who is willing to work for the growth of steemit in his or her university of study. A campus captain is expected to work just like a country rep or a city coordinator. They are expected to take the lead in promoting steemit and working along with campus teams if any is available, educating, and organizing students in their college of study.

Campus Captains will be focusing on campus promotion and retention, Campus connect community will serve as a training arena for all the newbies. Campus connect will provide better support to all the newbies and help them progress to steemit crypto academy.

Duties of a Campus captain

• A campus captain will take charge of weekly campus promotion.

• Campus captains will work to ensure that newbies get supported and retained on steemit.

• Periodic campus meetup/hangouts to keep steemains active and engaged.

• Weekly report on their progress and arising issue, these reports will be made in campus connect community, these reports will be used to monitor the progress of individual steemians and community awareness in different universities.

The following campus captains are expected to accept or decline their appointment via the comment section below.

The following campus captains will be working with campus connect team and existing campus captains to organize programs in the different universities.

We now have a total of 6 campus captains.

• @doppley- University of Lagos

• @whitestallion- Micheal Okpara University of Agriculture and every university without a Captain.

• @swaylee - University of Nigeria, Nsukka Campus.

• @davosimple - University of Uyo

• @alphafx - University of Nigeria, Enugu Campus.

This application is open to students from other universities internationally, posts must be made in campus connect

New Updates

• In order to ensure the seriousness of this program, campus captains will have to make a report of their activity in their university. This report should be made every Saturday or Sunday in cases of late entries.

• Campus captains will be supported with booming votes in proportion to their activity during the week.

• Campus Captains maybe be delisted if they are not active for more than 1 week. Campus captains must be very active and enggaing within the community.

We expect that this new arrangement will help in promoting steemit in the current univertsies with campus connect members.
