SCHOOL OR SKILLS?

Hello everyone @campusconnect, today I have put together some articles throwing more light on skills and schools, I deemed it fit to drop it here maybe some of us may learn something out of it. Do well to read and drop your own opinion after reading.

Skills doesn't supersedes schooling and schooling doesn't supersedes skills

If you spend 4 years (if not 6 years) schooling, getting employment Still won't be a guarantee. Meanwhile gaining a skill requires less time, less money (depending) but chances are you will quickly start earning once you acquire a proficient skill. The above is for those going to school in other to use the certificate for job employment.

Now your skill will be more valuable and worthy if you have the certificate, recall that the process of acquiring these certificates brings about learning so much in addition like social skills, interpersonal skills, opportunities, connections, exposure, etiquette, character and lot more.

We have great persons who didn't have this certificate but are owners and employers of graduates but we also have those with certificates that have leverage the certificate to land several job opportunities, contracts, world class achievement etc.
What I'm trying to say is both graduates and non graduates are all making it in this dispensation.

For instance, we have the musicians, dancers, footballers who are doing great today and are among the world famous but didn't even see the four walls of any UNIVERSITY.

Conclusion

People really won't care about who you are... They care more about what you can offer.. Everyone can't be a graduate and skills can't be disregarded. Just locate your niche and spend more time on it, build yourself and surely you will be successful.

Now the question is why do we go to school?

To earn a living with the certificate ?
To gain knowledge?
To pass time?
To get a degree?
