FUO STUDENTS PROTESTS OVER CLOSURE OF COURSE REGISTRATION
PROTESTS
After so many confrontation, and meetings with ICT Personnel, the course registration wasn't open for those who are yet to register their courses and with the exam starting on 1st November, 2021, some students couldn't put their admission at stake so they had instigated a warning protest in school on Friday, 29th October 2021.
The protesters were pleading to the management to reopen the portal especially for the final year who wouldn't want to waste another year even after paying school fee.
The intriguing part of the story is that the whole anomalies arose from the ICT Department after they fail to rectify issues concerning the PORTAL for course registration.
The portal had issues of deregistering courses that have been registered.
This wasn't fixed until the portal was locked.
Consequently, during the protest, words were spoken, and when the Dean of Students was asked about those students who are likely to commit suicide, the Dean allegedly said they should go ahead. This alone infuriated the students the more and raised many speculations.
The SUG PRESIDENT has been working his ass all day long to create a synergy with the students and the MANAGEMENT.
Consequently, the management through the SUG has informed the Students having the issue to submit their courses to the SUG, and also write their exams.
