A wise saying goes "he who fails to plan plans to fail." Planning is very important in different aspects of our lives and only through an effective planning system can one be successful in the decision making process and setting of goals. So what is planning and why is it so important in our daily lives.
Planning is the process of drawing out plans in order for a set goal.
Planning is the careful consideration of activities based on the foreseeing of the desired outcome and the putting in of the required effort, time and resources.
As it has been written above the definition of planning has been clearly explained which leaves with the reason we plan. We plan because of the following reasons.
• It ensures the efficient use of time and
resources.
• It ensures the decision making process is
easier and more effective.
•Planning allows for careful consideration and therefore ensures that the right goals are set.
• Planning allows for risk management.
• Planning reduces stress that comes from doubts and overthinking.
• Planning allows for objectives.
