I hope you are all well.Today I am going to tell about a tree that grows in our village.Which is also a source of economic in our village.
The specific plants that grow in any region are part of the culture of that region..because of how those people can benefit from the plants of their region by bringing them into their lives..that is, how their leaves, flowers, fruits and stems. etc. by making them useful or by preparing different useful items from them, we use these plants for life. Among such plants, today we mention "Muzri" which we call "Muzrai" in the local language
While its botanical name is 'nannorrhops ritchiana'.
In our area, women are very skilled in making mats, prayer mats, baskets, hand fans and many other daily use items from Mazri ( 'nannorrhops ritchiana'.)leaves. They are also sold in other areas..which is also a source of livelihood for many poor families. Mazri( 'nannorrhops ritchiana'.) is capable of withstanding both extreme cold and hot weather. The growth of maize depends on rainwater. It also grows in areas where water is scarce. It is commonly found in desert areas i.e. Baluchistan, Sindh and many areas of Khyber Pakhtunkhwa, for example, in village Karbadnikhel Rangoon, district Laki Marwat.
