Steemit Engagement Challenge S4-W1|Traditional Retail Shopping : Oja Oba Market| by @yakspeace
Introduction
Hello everyone,
It's yet another opportunity for me to be here once again participating is the very engagement challenge contest. Thank you steem Entrepreneur for coming up with this nice topic: “Traditional Retail"
Oja oba market is one of the best traditional markets in my city. The market is located around ipata road Kwara State Ilorin. All the areas located around the market is being described as the Oja oba because, the market is close to the emir's palace, so the name of the market was derived from the King's name.

I always enjoy it whenever i shop at the Oja Oba market. I came to Kwara State not quite long but, the way i saw the people around me visiting the market most often got my attention to the extent i decided to visit the traditional retail market just to see things for myself. Since then i often go there to buy all the items and foodstuffs i need at the house. I have met with some traders at the market, and I was able to make good relationships with them.
Oja oba market is the largest market in Ilorin, the market is primarily for foodstuff and it is one of the city's cheapest food markets feel with farm produce directly from the farms or other local traders. Most people living in Kwara State always visit the Oja Oba market to shop because of the availability of foodstuffs at the market. The varieties of foodstuffs being sold at the Oja oba market are vegetables, rice, different type of meat, rice, yam, beans, and different type of fruits. e.t.c
The traditional market has different sections where goods are being sold. Today I visited some of the sections and I was able to interact with the traditional traders. Below are the sections of the market.

The Oba oja market provides the necessary ingredients. Is this a market that is open every day or is there a certain day to buy goods here. I also share about traditional retail, if you have time please take a look and I am very happy.
You can say that again, the market has all the necessary ingredients.
