Explored the Bangladeshi Street Food. (Reviews and facts)
Hello Everyone. I am @shiftitamanna
From #Bangladesh
First we need to know what is street food?
My answer Street food is any tasty food sold by hawkers or vendors on the streets or in other public places such as markets, fairs or parks. In this case, many famous street foods can be seen in Bangladesh. For example: pizza, burger, pasta, chatpotti, phuchka, velpuri, noodles, piyaju, potato chop, jhalmuri, haleem, dal puri, etc., besides all these foods, there are many more delicious street food foods can be seen on the side of the road or in fairs and markets of Bangladesh which Bangladesh is quite famous and traditional.
Location
I mentioned the definition of street food to you a while ago where I said that these foods are available almost everywhere in Bangladesh on the roadside or in the crowd of people. Basically, these foods are called street food because they are mobile. Many times it is seen that when there is a fair somewhere, these mobile street food stalls start their business there. Basically all the foods are delicious and very traditional of Bangladesh, they are very loved by the people of our country.
All food stalls can be found in markets, in various populated areas of Bangladesh. The location of these food stalls can be changed very quickly as these stalls can be seen almost everywhere in Bangladesh. Basically, according to the demand and considering the customers, a specific place is selected and from there these street foods are sold to the people.
Quality of Food
The quality of these street foods varies from place to place and depending on the vendor. Basically, these street foods are mostly prepared by the vendors themselves, so the quality of the food may vary slightly due to different vendors. However, most of the time these foods are very tasty and the customer's needs are considered in the preparation of all the foods. As these dishes use extra spices and savory ingredients, the quality of these dishes is usually good.
Safe and Healthy Food
Talking about the state food safety, I would first mention the street food shops below the mosque market in my residence Dhaka Motijheel where food is prepared and handed over to the customers in a very good environment on the roadside. In this case if I say food shop or surrounding environment then in that case I would say the place is quite safe and the vendors try to deliver the best food they have prepared to the hands of the customers.
But if we consider the health aspect, if we eat street food in excess amount, it improves our body externally but damages internally. Some unscrupulous traders make these street foods using low quality edible oil or other food items which are very harmful to our health. Due to the use of extra oil and spices in these foods, harm is hidden behind the improvement of physical health.
Besides, we have to think about the purity of these foods while consuming them because most of the parts of our country have polluted air which causes dust to fly in the air. There are many germs in this dust. This germ also mixes with street food and eating this food can cause various complications including stomach pain, diarrhea, vomiting, headache, dysentery.
Demand or Popularity of Street Food
The demand and popularity of street food is long because almost every people of our country like these foods very much. Personally, I myself like these foods very much and sometimes I stay under the mosque market near my house to eat these foods. My favorite food is mainly pasta, burger, brisket, fuska. Also I have seen people there eating more street food including Jhal Muri and the vendors are making a lot of profit by selling these foods as the demand for these foods is high.
These street foods are available in fairs or markets in different parts of Bangladesh and people buy more of these foods than other foods. The main feature of state food is that the food is very tasty but the price is relatively low. Therefore, almost all classes of people, including the rich and the poor, can buy and eat these foods. That's why the popularity of all these dishes in Bangladesh has been around for a long time.

- All these foods can be prepared and handed over to many customers in a short time, so more profit can be expected in a short time.
- This business can be started with a small amount of money.
- As this trader invests a bit less In that case there is less risk of loss.
Disadvantage :
- The biggest difficulty in this business is securing the business location. Because this business cannot be expected to profit without a populated place.
- Before starting this business, the seller must have an understanding of the preparation of the food he is going to sell.
- The buyer should be informed about the quality of the food prepared by him.
