When is comes to steemit, smartphone is a key device every Steemian must possess, to aid them in their daily activities, unlike other devices used to access the steemit block chain.
The first and foremost beneficial support a smartphone gives to a new Steemian is verification of account, through a registered country number (SIM Card). During the sign up of a new steemit account, a space is provided for one to enter the mobile number in order to receive a pop-up confirmation code through SMS, to be used for the account verification. It also makes it easy to open mail for account verification, when one is using a person computer (PC), in a way that helps one from closing and opening of new pages or tabs, which can make the page to refresh, sending one back or restarting the process.
Moreover, smartphone is a portable handheld or pocket device, that can be carried anywhere one goes. Due to how portable the device is, it gives one absolute control over it , and makes typing very fast. It also helps to monitor the steemit account, so that one can easily report or log out the account in case of any suspicious activities, such as hack, where a message be sent to the owner to through SMS or mail to confirm awareness of the activity.
Furthermore, smartphone is a device that makes transactions very easy these days. With the help of smartphone, one can easily make transactions, such as transfer of steem to Binance, buying and selling of Steem Dollar (SBD), transfer of Trx to another Tron account and among several others. In some business places, they accept steem or SBD as mode of payment for goods and services, in case one has no physical cash on them. The smartphone makes this transaction very easy and faster, anywhere and at anytime, as far as one has a good internet connection.
Nevertheless, smartphones are very common compared to digital cameras. With the aid of the smartphone, one can take nice pictures, anywhere and at anytime. This makes it possible for one to post original images instead of downloading copyright images from the net.
