My Country's Education Journey: From Satisfaction to Reform

Describe your country education system including its structure curriculum teaching methods and key stakeholders.

The educational system in Nigeria is one of the best I have seen so far though I haven't gone out to see other countries own but I'm certain that the structure of the education here will make you become very educated and you will also be able to work in different fields of studies since you cover a lot during the university period.

In Nigeria we have nursery, primary, secondary and tertiary institutions. Now you must pass through them one after the other in the order I listed them above. This means that you can't jump from one to another you have to follow it step by step.

Also as a graduate I have noticed that the workload for an average Nigeria student is very high i.e when you are in the university you will be given many course even those outside your course of studies. This is to mold you to become more stronger and also work whereever you find yourself.

This has been the structure of the schools in Nigeria. You will be trained in almost everything and that it's why when you go out to abroad where you are focused on only a your course you do better than others.

The schools here are majorly sponsored by the government or private individuals and that is why we call them the major stake holders in education. They both parties, always ensure that the standard is meet at all times.

The country education system to me is okay. As I have said from the very beginning, here in Nigeria the workload is always much on students and that will help them to be able to work anywhere the find their selves because they have gotten some knowledge in all the fields.

Doing a lot of courses as a student will help you to do better when you have lesser course as you will read and consume everything compare to when you have more courses and more workload.

So the structure of the school here is in an orderly manner and as you know, people will always learn from step by step making them become professional at the end of the day. Going through the nursery, primary, secondary and the tertiary institutions will give you all the knowledge you need as you continue the journey of life.

To improve the education in my country, I will want to introduce modern means of learning in the various institutions and also I will want to cut down the unnecessary courses which people do.

This will enable them to focus on their main course of studies and do perfectly well in them and also with the introduction of modern facilities for learning, the learn process will be faster.

I will want everyone to start making money online while in school by introducing a course like blockchain and blogging where they will be taught Steemit and other social media platform where they can write and earn.

So introducing such modern form of education will go a long way in helping people to learn and earn even while schooling. People won't be stranded for food and other things because the earn while studying.
