Hello everyone here hope we are all doing great. My name is @newtonb. This is S9W6 of steemit engagement Challenge and i have decided to take part in this amazing Challenge here in Steem Entrepreneur Community with the title Steemit Engagement Challenge S9W6 : Hard Work or Smart Work ?. Please follow me as I take you through answering the questions.
Okay according to me hard work is any work that deals with the physical strength of an individual or group of individuals. Hard work requires one to be physically engaged in a particular task. In other words, the more effort you put in carrying out the task the better output you get and similarly The less effort you put in produces a small output.
Smart work on the other hand can be seen as work carried out with employing the senses more then the muscles. This requires one to be very knowledgeable and smart in thinking in other to produce better results. Smart workers look for a best way to carry out a task without much stress and still produce results.
Okay, to me I think that both hard work and smart work have their place as far as boosting productivity is concerned. However, Smart work is the most important because it is the leading work.
Yes, I apply both in my work activities, both are very important. One cannot say to the other "I don't need you".
Permit me use a practical example to answer this question. Working in a building construction site. You will need both labourers and engineers without the two the work cannot be realised. But I will say Smart work is better for boosting productivity because. If the labourers don't know what to do the work will still not move forward. The Engineers in this case are considered as smart workers because they used their minds and knowledge more than their physical strength as input. While the labourers take instructions. without them the work will not be done.
First of all Steemit is a very educative platform. And I have learnt a lot from here since I joined in 2021. So on that note, I want to thank the entire steemit team for continually making steemit a better place to be. Especially providing to us steemians engagement Challenges to keep us working and most importantly learning. I say may God continue to bless you all steemit team.🙏

Of course you are right hard work in all the muscles and effort to perform a certain activities as we are putting extra work. It definitely leads to success ultimately while you briefly explained about smart work it involves the use of brain and more wide result can be obtained.

Yes friend! You got that right. Both hard work and smart work produces results. One requires the use of the intellect while the other requires the use of strength. And that smart work will always produce more output.

I agree with your view that hard work often involves intense use of physical strength and effort, while smart work focuses more on the intelligent use of knowledge and thinking. Hard work requires physical endurance and can involve tasks that require strength and courage To complete. On the other hand, smart work involves the ability to utilize knowledge and intelligence To find solutions that are efficient and produce good results.
In the end, combining hard work and smart work can help us be more effective and productive In carrying out our tasks and achieving our goals. It is important To acknowledge the strengths of both and use qualities that are relevant in the context of the work being done.

You have supported my points, thank you so much. Hard work and smart work are inevitable as far as boosting productivity is concerned. All of them have their roles to play in the contribution to output.
So smart workers are simply front-liners because they are mostly the ones with the vision and technical know-how. They use their minds more while hard work workers engage with more physical abilities and strength.

The effort given when working smart may not be as big as what we give when working hard, but if smart work can provide greater results or the same results as effort that is not as big as hard work, then working smart is arguably much more efficient.

it is very important to note that what is expected after every work Is output. So If the input is small and smart and yet produced great results then it's more preferable because the goal is to work with less stress and produce more output. That's why over the years researchers and inventors have Come out with various ways to work smart thereby reducing hard work which wearies the body.
Both hard work and smart work are essential for boosting productivity, but the importance of each can vary depending on the context and the goals you want to achieve.
Yes that is very true, it all depends on the kind of work to be done. Because some works will need more of hard to be done while others will need smart work.
