Steemit Engagement Challenge - S7W6 | My vision and and mission to join Steemit.
Good day once again to everyone, my name is oluwatimileyin and I am happy to participate in the week 6 Engagement contest with the title: My vision and mission to join Steemit.
I am very happy to join in this contest with you as I would be writing an article on my vision and mission for steemit in 2023.
My journey with Steemit began when a coursemate at my university introduced me to the platform in November 2021. He explained how it is a decentralized social media platform where a user could create and share content while also earning rewards in cryptocurrency.
I was interested in the idea, so I decided to explore Steemit further. I was impressed by the variety of content on the platform, with varieties of posts. I also appreciated the sense of community that Steemit offered, as users were encouraged to engage with one another by commenting on and upvoting each other's posts.
As I began to go through the platform, I learned more about how Steemit worked. I discovered that the rewards system is based on some considerations such as the quality of the content and the amount of engagement it received. I also learned that the currency used on Steemit, STEEM, and TRX are cryptocurrencies that could be traded for other digital assets.
I was Motivated by the possibility to earn rewards and engage with a supportive community, so it was then decided to create an account and start posting on Steemit. I was initially nervous about sharing my [personal life writing with lots of audiences, but the positive feedback I received from other users gave me the confidence to continue.
Generally, discovering Steemit through my coursemate in university opened up a whole new world of opportunities for me. Through the platform, I was able to share my content and connect with like-minded individuals, and even earn rewards for my contributions.
Steemit is a blockchain-based social media platform that offers several advantages over other similar platforms. Here are some of the advantages of Steemit:
1 . Decentralization: Steemit is a decentralized platform, which means that it is not controlled by any central authority. Instead, it is powered by a community of users who are interested to create content.
2 . Rewards for content creators: Steemit rewards content creators with cryptocurrency, STEEM, which can be converted into other cryptocurrencies.
3 . Transparency: Steemit's platform ensures transparency in the platform's transactions and rewards. Users can see how much they are earning for their content.
4 . Community- engagement: Steemit's community is an active and engaged group of users who curate content and support each other.
Overall, Steemit has a unique combination of decentralization, rewards for content creators, and transparency which make it an exciting platform over other similar platforms.
My main motivation for joining Steemit was to earn cryptocurrency and connect with others who share similar interests with me on the platform. Steemit provides a platform where users can earn rewards in the form of cryptocurrency by creating content. So, therefore, By joining the platform, I saw an opportunity to earn cryptocurrency and have an audience.
Additionally, Steemit also allows users to connect with a community of like-minded people who share similar interests and passions. This creates a space where one can engage in meaningful discussions, share ideas, and learn from others. Overall, my motivation for joining Steemit was moved by the passion to earn while creating content and connecting with a community of individuals who share my interests.
In addition to earning cryptocurrency and connecting with like-minded individuals, joining Steemit also offer several other benefits. The platform provides an opportunity to showcase my skills and expertise, and this can help me build my brand and gain recognition within the field. By consistently creating high-quality content, one can establish a good relationship on the platform and attract followers who might be interested in my work.
Overall, my motivations for joining Steemit offers have lots of potential benefits not just simply earning cryptocurrency. but By actively engaging with the platform and friends.
No, I don't intend to power down, I have had a slow movement on the platform, but now I am with a good experience and am ready to serve the platform better.
Yes, I am always excited about powering up, Powering up Steem Power not only gives you more influence on the platform but also demonstrates a long-term commitment and shows confidence in the Steemit platform.
The one strategy I have discovered is to maintain my Club 100 status and to continue creating valuable content and engaging with other users on the platform. Building a good status is the key, as the more users who support and upvote your content, the more likely you are to earn rewards and maintain your Steem Power.
Another strategy is to diversify content by exploring different topics and different engagements. For example, if you typically write articles on foods, diary games and you could also try joining contests and others.
In addition to creating content, it's important to also engage with other users as well by upvoting, commenting, and resteeming their content. This not only helps to build your network but also encourages others to engage with your content as well.
Staying active on the platform is also crucial, as consistency is key to maintaining status. I have decided to Set a schedule for myself and make sure to post and engage regularly, whether that be daily or at least five times a week.
In conclusion, by staying committed to powering up and consistently creating valuable content and engaging with others on the Steemit platform, one will have a good chance of maintaining Club 100 status and continuing to build influence on the platform.
My primary goal for Steemit in 2023 is to continue to maintain my membership in Club100, which is a status for Steemit users who do not withdraw their earnings and power up consistently and are committed to supporting others on the platform.
Additionally, I also hope to increase my Steem Power to reach a goal of 5000 SP by this year, which would give me more influence on the platform and I also hope to build my audience on Steemit. I know this can be longer-term and more challenging as it requires consistent engagement with the community and the creation of high-quality content. However, with dedication and effort, it's a possible goal to achieve.
To work towards my goals, I plan on consistently producing high-quality content, engaging with other users on the platform, and building relationships with those who share similar interests. I believe that With consistent effort and engagement, it's possible to achieve these goals and be successful on the platform.
CONCLUSION
In conclusion, joining Steemit was one of the best things to ever happened to me. and my hope is by setting the goal of staying in Club100 and continually powering up.
My mission is to stay active on Steemit which I know requires consistent effort, high-quality content, and active engagement with the community. By staying focused on my vision and mission, while also putting in the work to create valuable content and engaging with others on the platform, I know that I can build a successful presence on Steemit and achieve my goals.
