This is Monz from India , hope you people are doing great and enjoying your days happily.
Firstly I would like to thank this community for organising such an amazing contest and the reason why this contest is special for me because post recovery this is my first contest. I would like to invite @alfezmalik , @dove11 and @suboohi
Not only I but there are thousands of people or maybe more than that who have been part of this platform since very beginning and their lives have completely been changed be it financially or socially. Honestly answering the question asked for the contest which is our opinion about Steemit
Income and Skills Development
To the income and development skills as I have already declared earlier that I am a student and for my financial needs I was totally dependent on this platform and touch wood this platform has given me a lot for which I consider myself to be the luckiest one. Last year I withdrew my steems for my surgery which was an unavoidable incident . All my medical expenses was covered by the amount of the steems which I sold.
Coming back to the skills after joining this platform I have improved my communication skills a lot and my typing speed has to a certain extent also increased and all thanks to steemit for the same. Besides developing many skills I also found some very good friends on this platform which is the best gift of steemit for me till date.
Besides improving my technical skills my cooking skills also got improved because of this platform as I started drawing new dishes to upload the recipe and after trying them twice or thrice my cooking skills got improved.
Earlier I had least idea about writing the text in a proper format and mark down styling but later by observing other people's posts my markdown skills got improved.
Community and Social Support
Before the surgery of mine I was a country representative of India and the curators have always been kind to me and supported me throughout my bad and good times for which I am grateful to this platform .
There was times when I really needed support for my studies be it financial support this platform has always supported me and moreover I have been part of curation team as well as moderator of hot news community.
I have organised many contests and successfully completed the same. I am lucky enough that I got love of all the steemians including the curators.
Tagline "Steem for Better Life"
Not only myself but there are many other steemians who's life got changed because of this platform and sometimes when I used to get idle on my bed I went through the tag of #betterlifewithsteem I got to know about the life of people and their struggles towards daily living and earning.
Activities like lifestyle, fooding, drawing crafts etc DIY's and other activities are shared by people under the tag. Even sometimes I share my personal experience and my daily activities with the tag of #betterlifewithsteem. So this was my first contest entry post surgery hope you people will like going through the post.
