Hello everyone out here, this is your fellow Steemian @megareigns, how are you all doing over here? As for me, the harmattan is treating me just very well. So, I will be participating in this contest titled **Financial Reflection In 2023** organized by @harferri.
2023 started in a very wrong foot for me, because I was really not buoyant financially on January due to the fact that I just finished burying my mum late last year and I had spent almost all I had, so January, I still had to pay my house rent that has expired, this alone left me with little or nothing to survive.
After this, I was beginning to gain my fit and started saving again around February but Nigeria my home country faced **cash crunch**, this means, there was little to no cash in circulation, this was imposed by the Central Bank Of Nigeria Governor. It was really unbearable, the little cash we had was basically for feeding as getting cash was hard to the point that one has to pay 50% of every money withdraw from Point Of Sales (POS).
After all these ended around may, I still continued my job as a sales representative in a boutique, I had to be saving 20% of my salary every month, but the remaining money wasn't always enough to take me through the entire month because transportation feed had increased by 200% from the initial amount.
So, still on may, I started Steemit and the little earnings I make here, I power up 50% and withdraw 50%, this also helped me settle some bills atleast till my salary is due. Though sometimes, I don't get much but it has been going a long way to get my toiletries and transport to work most days, this also create a great relieve to me.
On July, I started Affiliate Marketing, i work with click bank broker and though it was a tough one, atleast from there, I know my house rent is certain next year and also, from the money I have made so far over there, I do use them go stock my house on groceries, though I am not yet financially stable, atleast I am getting closer to living a financially comfortable life .
So far, so good, I am able to save more than 80% of my salary every month from July till date, and I have savings that will enable me invest in crypto against the next bull run. Much thanks to Steemit for being an eye opener of the opportunities that can be found online, so, I am earning this year without owing anyone .
Permit me to invite @etette, @wirngo and @bongk to participate in this contest.

Thank you for taking part in the Contest: Financial Reflections 2023!
We are very sad to hear about the loss of our beloved mother in early 2023. Nevertheless, we feel proud and happy to know that you are a hard worker who was able to recover from the financial downturn caused by the huge expenditure to bury our beloved mother. We can tell you that your mother in Heaven must be very proud of you.
We also recommend that you share 10 rewards to your @steempreneurship or @steemkindness account to support the growth of your community account or support charity activities.
Kind regards,
Steem Entrepreneurs Team
