Mangoes are usually very sweet, juicy and aromatic during mango season. Different species of mangoes are available at this time. Like Himsagar, Langra, Fazli, Amrapali etc. Mangoes are harvested after they are ripe on the tree, resulting in the best flavor and nutritional value. Fresh mangoes are available in the market during the season and the prices are usually a bit lower.

Mango price in Bangladesh :

In Bangladesh, the price of mangoes has increased a lot this season. Mango prices in Rajshahi have tripled compared to last year. For example, the price of small mangoes now ranges from Tk 1,500 or 83 steem to Tk 2,000 or 111 steem, whereas last year it was Tk 500 or 27 steem to Tk 700 or 38 steem. The same situation is seen in Sathkhira. The price of mango has doubled there. Each maund is being sold at Tk 1,500 to Tk 2,400.

The main reason for the increase in mango prices in Bangladesh is the low yield of this year's crop. Long winters, rains and heat have reduced mango yields in many places. As a result supply decreased and prices increased. I went to Rajshahi a few days ago to know the situation of mango market.
