Steemit Engagement Challenge 4 | STEEM GROWTH CONTEST - Theme: How many hours have you spent on steemit in the last week

Hi, my people, it is a pleasure to participate in the contest organised in this noble community. Today I want to write about the amount of time I spend on steemit in the just concluded week. I do hope you have lots of fun as you read through my blog.
For the past week, I have been spending a little more quality time on the platform than ever before. As of last week, I did a lot of work and for that reason, I was not able to attend the entire contest that was released for the engagement challenge. So the time I spent last week was quite limited.
Last week, I had an exams program and for that reason, the time I spent on the platform was very limited. Initially, I try as much to ensure I drop at least one post on the platform daily. But the just-concluded week was very hectic for me. The time I spent was limited.
Because of the exams, I was having, I only attempted two of the engagement contest. This is because my exams were choked up. Initially, I spend at least 6 hours preparing and making posts on the platform daily. But as of the just concluded week, I spent this time for Monday and Tuesday only. My exams started Wednesday so I had to study for them.
On Monday and Tuesday, after spending 6 hours making my post, I also spend 1 hour commenting and also reading other people's articles. This gave me a total of about 14 hours in use on Monday and Tuesday. Though aside from this very time, I still surf the platform to check for updates any moment I am free.
It is important to mention here that I have a special time that I normally use for the steemit platform anytime am not engaged like this just-concluded week. In my little timetable, I design my academic work to start from morning to 3:00 pm and then my research and writing of my article start at 4:00 pm to 10:00 pm. So, on daily basis, I ensure that within this time I make my research and also write and make little comments on other persons' posts as well.
My exams took from Wednesday to Saturday so I was unable to make any other posts on the steemit platform instead anytime I am a little free, I will surf the platform and then read other people's posts and make comments on them.
Benefits of the Steemit Engagement Challenge
The benefits of the steemit engagement challenge can never be overemphasised. The reason is that the engagement has helped in no small way to improve my activeness on the platform and also to interact with other steemians on the platform as well.
Since the start of the engagement challenge, I have been able to read a lot of articles written by steemians all over the world. I have also been able to know more new persons on the platform as they tend to engage with me on the platform through commenting on my post and myself commenting on their posts as well. I have established a good relationship with lots of steemians because of the engagement challenge.
I want to commend the steemitblog for such a wonderful initiative. This interactive or engagement challenge will go a long way to building a cordial relationship between steemians all over the world.
Suggestions to improve this challenge in the next period.
The challenge as we have seen has been moving very smoothly for the past 3 weeks now and sincerely I must commend the communities moderators for their job well done since the program started because they have been working tirelessly in ensuring that all the posts dropped in the various community are reviewed.
The curators too are doing marvellously very well. We have been told at the beginning of this engagement challenge that votes are not guaranteed but kudos to the curators for their tireless effort in visiting thousands of posts made in the various community and ensuring that almost everyone gets at least a vote in one of his/her entries.
Just a little suggestion, to me I think booming support should be given to communities which are selected for the engagement challenge every month so that the Admins and MODs can in turn vote on quality content that lack the curator's vote. In this way, people will be encouraged to continue being active and the engagement will continue to be more lively as possible.
Conclusion
In conclusion, in the past week, I spent 6 hours each on Monday and Tuesday and also I surf the platform in my free time. In conclusion, last week I spent roughly about 20 hours on the steemit platform. This is the time of my writing article and the time I used to comment on other person articles. I also added the free time I usually surf the platform whenever I am less busy. That is all that I spent last week.
