How to reduce inflation In my opinion, I am saying that we should reduce the tariff on energy products of our country. Foodgrains and other essential commodities should be provided to the public at fixed prices. We all have to deal with natural disasters and build food reserves. Action should be taken against hoarding businesses.

As a result of the increase in the price of goods in the international market, inflation occurs within our country. If the price of goods increases in our country, it costs more than half to import those goods. As a result, products are sold at higher prices in the market. Those products have to be purchased by spending more money than before. Due to these reasons, product price inflation occurs.

Inflation tends to be higher in rural than urban areas, mainly due to higher food prices. About 70 percent of our population lives in Bangladesh. Vegetables, rice, fish, poultry etc. are mostly supplied from the city to the village. Therefore, inflation is higher in villages than in cities.

To reduce inflation, the government of the country should deal with the economic crisis in Bangladesh like many other countries. Government should go for analytical policy. For example, the corporate tax rate has been reduced in various ways over the past three years. The objective was to encourage investment. Bangladesh Bank's latest monetary policy will help curb the country's ongoing inflation. Economists have made 10 recommendations in the next budget, including controlling inflation and increasing revenue. These are reducing subsidies and budget deficits, reducing domestic borrowing and increasing external borrowing. This is how the country's government should reduce inflation.
