SEC - S15W6: Living With Steem
Hi Friends!
I'm so delighted to be part of this contest, and I hope my entry finds you well ❤️🩹! There's a saying that, seeing is believing, I mean I never thought I could be earning online through content creation, don't get me wrong I know platforms like Twitter, Instagram, Facebook, tick-tock, YouTube and the like do pay some of its users but we all know their requirements, is it easy to get hundreds of thousands of followers and likes in each of your posts? Many of us cannot meet up, not to talk of a person like me who's not active in any of them. But you see with Steemit I feel safe and secure I'm always encouraged and feel fulfilled and satisfied after using the platform, unlike others who will be drained.
I feel safe here, I learn, share and earn at the same time. I tell you in my 2 years and 10 months I have no regrets, I love Steem and I can show off my time here through my Steem power and I'm proud of myself. I'm not in any competition, my happiness is that I'm growing every day and Steemit has become part of my life 🥰.
People around me know that I'm blogging on Steemit, because I don't let an opportunity pass by without preaching the goodness of this platform, for others they used to think that I was a journalist because of how I used to speak and capture every moment, I can write thousands of words now without any ache because I became used to it. I know how to write good posts, I learnt craft and photography here, and I can take good photos and edit them too all credit goes to Steemit.
At first I was adamant that a platform like Steemit doesn't exist, I was like nothing is free even the ones I invested so much on used to crash how much more the so-called free one, I didn't understand the concept of Blockchain technology. Thank goodness I decided to give it a try since there's no harm in trying, and here I am becoming addicted to Steem!
I have not worked for more than a year now, and Steemit is the best side hustle anyone could think of, I mean I don't feel it at all because I'm earning Weekly, and I can buy the little things I need without asking my husband and I am planning to surprise him toward the end of this year. I will remain ever grateful to this platform no matter what I may become shortly, I mean I can't forget my humble beginning.
I'm investing from what I used to withdraw here and very soon It will yield greater rewards and I won't fail to share it with you. Apart from the financial benefits, Steemit has helped me to discover some of my hidden talents which include photography, craft making, drawings, cooking and writing. I hope to invest a bit more in my writing skills because it's therapeutic, it helps me to be up-to-date, you know the more I read, the more I know!
Though extroverted I'm a bit reserved, I barely socialise with people on social media except when I know the user one-on-one, but that's not the same with Steemit, I feel so free here and I'm making some good friends here both in my Locality and international. We have mutual understanding, fake life is not rampant on Steemit, they are people we can share fellow feelings with, without any fear of blackmail in the future, I just love it here!
I can share my views and opinions without any fear of attack or negative criticisms, Steemit is a haven for all, it changes people's lives for the better, this is where you feel encouraged at the end of the day because at least one of your friends will definitely give you that heart-warming commendations, communities do support us and make us feel love here.
I've made some real friends here, Who normally check on me and want the best for me and I can't heart them less.
Steem indeed Better life, it has added value to me mentally, emotionally and physically, I used to get expensive gifts for myself and loved ones with the rewards I gained here. And I've decided to save up from my withdrawals here and added money to install Solar in our new building house, this will indeed improve my life and the environment, I mean we have a lot of suns 🌞 in my country but no electricity, solar energy is the way forward!
I've seen a lot of Steemians who better their lives with Steem and this normally makes me happy, it's an answer to so many users' prayers, I love Steem and I've found my place here. Hi @eliany, @mesola and @okere-blessing join this contest.
