Warmest greetings from my part of the world, thanks for the effort put together to visit my blog this moment. A very special thanks to this amazing user @pathanapsana for thinking so deeply to bring out such an interesting contest topic which I am very glad to participate.
When and why is International Nurses Day celebrated?
Nurse: A nurse is a medical personnel whose work and attention goes to the patient. Their aim is to see every sick person stand on their feet to say I am healed now. A nurse work directly with the doctor, a doctor does not really give much attention to the patient after his day 1 encounter with the patient however, after the prescription by the doctor, the doctor handles over the patient to the nurse to be taken cared.
The international Nurses Day are celebrated on the 5th May. This day should be celebrated because the nurses are worthy to be celebrated. Their efforts is immeasurable, their hardwork should be appreciated, their aims and struggle to see patients smile is a huge sacrifice so they deserve more.
What do you think about the nurse in your heart?
Nurses has occupied almost 90% gratitude from me, I have them big in my heart because sometimes I seat down to wander how these people are happy in doing their job? These nurses don't seat to relax as teachers or any occupation do, they are always attentive to their patients.
I feel these nurses should be paid more than what they earn now. A private hospital around my world here pays nurses 30,000 naira which is steem equivalent to 75 steem in this hard economic situation. It baffles me to hear such an amount, that is why I so much wish nurses could be consider when it comes to salary.
If you get a chance to serve the community as a nurse in a situation like Covid-19, would you do it?
No! A big No! I am sorry for being selfish but I have to be sincere and honest. My dream was to become a nurse but condition changed the whole dream and plan. However, I do not regret because my sister is a nurse and I know what she is passing through.
Covid-19 is a virus which if I am not careful enough can be contacted. Nurses are at a very high risk from their patients because they wouldn't know what is wrong until a patient is been diagnosed. They are too open to risk which I won't be ready to take such risk.
Have you ever taken health care from a nurse in a hospital? If so, how was your experience?
Yes! I will forever appreciate the effort of nurses although some nurses can be crazy which I have never encountered with such but I know good ones are more.
My experience at the hospital was so wonderful. The Lady I met was named Maryam, she was very nice and kind to me, I was vomiting anyhow buy she stood there, rubbing my back and saying sorry you will be fine.
In conclusion, Nurses are worth celebrated, they work tirelessly to see their patients smile which I will wish that their pay can be reconsidered by the government and especially private hospital owners. Thanks for reading to this point, I invite my friends to join the contest.

In as much that nurses are caring it's a very risk occupation i must tell you. But in the same hand if everyone run away from the profession who will den take care of the sick people.
