My Country's Education Journey: From Satisfaction to Reform

(TGIT) (Thank God it's Tuesday) i am really happy to be part of this week's contest and I will do my possible best to come out victorious. I also believe that all the stemians are doing well. Thanks to the individual that made this contest a reality i will try to actively participate.

Describe your country education system including its structure curriculum teaching methods and key stakeholders.

My countries education system is a kind of system I will say uses a method to me which may be seen as (SQRRR) (meaning survey questions recall resite and review). Which a see as a good method of teaching.
My reasons are;

Surveying is the act of trying to accurately understand and go vividly through way your teacher had just taught you to know your level of understanding in other to get a more and suitable idea or understanding about the given topic which is been taught.

Recalling something is the way of an individual being able use his/her mind and initiative to be capable returning, remembering what you are being taught by your teacher.

Resiting is a process of the continuous repeatation of what your as a learner or student is been taught for quicker and better understanding.

Reviewing is a method of carrying out self evaluation as being instructed by your teacher or a way of subsequent reading of a text or artifact.

My country's posses a curriculum teaching method of age and the method of that particular generations method of learning, which is usually follow up from the basics to the advanced method of teaching and my country's learning method is also good because our teachers always do thier possible best to break down the vocabularies to a more simple english for the junior classes.

The various stakeholders in power in the secondary schools, and the higher institution in my country are;

• The schools senior prefer which is a student.
• The various class captains.

For the tertiary institution

• The vice councilor.
• The lecturer's.
• The (SUG) meaning student Union government.
• The SUG president

Are you satisfied with your country education system? Share your reasons why or why not.

I am really satisfied with my country's educational system because of the following reasons listed below.

• Am really satisfied because we used the method (SQRRR) which has helped me to understand what ever i am being taught by my teacher in a more faster and easier way.

• It makes me to be faster at my ways of reasoning in all areas of life.

• Because the various student stakeholders are been elected by either the teachers and the principal or the students themselves.

Another thing is that I hardly get harassed by the senior students during the time I was a junior student.

What reforms would you introduce to improve education in your country? Be innovative and practical in your suggestions.

I will like to introduce more advanced method or teaching like making use of electronical devices like the projectors, computers in all schools to improve and make education smoothly and enjoyable.

I will also suggest that students should be more enlighten on sex education to keep them from being sexually abused especially the female gender.
