In today's world, everything is becoming expensive. The inflation rate is rising due to many factors. The world war in today's life is about economic. Some countries are making money and developing due to their hard work and others are struggling because they are not having any type of funds or facilities; its government blender that they are imposing limitation on hard working people. There are also such countries whom are developing due to destroying others economic strength by supporting the corrupt leaders to take the thrown. I am also struggling because of increased inflation rate due to which I have certain issues due to which I am facing to become economically stable. e.g. I want to buy battery for my laptop and its price has increase 150% according to last year and also other things which I need to create my source of income.
Q: What specific steps have you taken to reduce electricity consumption in your business during the summer?
There are many steps which people can take to reduce electricity consumption, including me.
- Switching OFF unnecessary lights and fans: There are many people who leave lights and fans which are no in use or people are not available at that place.
Switching OFF AC split: Some people leave split AC ON so that their room is cool when they are not present at that time, so they can use it later or their room should remain cold.
Time: There are certain times in which the electricity unit moves slowly or the expenditure is less.
- Electrical devices: Using such electrical devices which consume less electricity. Most of the current is wasted on resistance so we should use such devices where resistance is not needed so that the current is not wasted. We can also use electrical devices e.g. iron, washing machine and TV which consume little electricity.
Q: Have you invested in any technology or tools to monitor and manage your electricity usage?
Yes I have invested in technical devices which uses less electricity.
- Laptop: I have invested money to buy laptop rather PC, PC is always connected to electricity and it consumes it continuously. I laptop there is a battery present; you will charge it and works for more time.
- Air conditioner: There are air conditioners present which cools down the atmosphere by using water, it runs on few electricity; its capacity is 12W.
- Split AC Inverter: In today's modern life; inverter Split AC are being invented which uses limited electricity to cooldown a room. The inverter is running when you switch OFF the AC with remote but not the main button.
Q: What advice would you give to other business owners struggling with high electricity bills in the summer?
I will give advice to them to use renewable source of methods to reuse electricity. Solar panels are available which produces electricity for life time when they are operating or working. Business should install solar panels plant which will be costly but it will provide a huge amount of electrical energy for more time.
