BIO DATA OF SHEHBAZ SHARIF

Shehbaz Sharif was born in Lahore on September 30, 1949. His father was the famous industrialist, Mohammad Sharif and his mother was the granddaughter of the "Lion of Punjab," Sir Mian Muhammad Shafi. Shehbaz Sharif pursued his early education in Lahore, Pakistan, and later received higher education at the University of California. He moved back to Pakistan in the 1970s and joined his family business, the Ittefaq Group, a conglomerate that was started by his grandfather and spread throughout Pakistan. His father was an ambitious man and made sure that his son had the best opportunities to succeed. In a country where most people grow up to work in their family business, he was blessed to have a father that pushed him to succeed in anything he wanted.
Pakistan People's Party (PPP) Chairman Bilawal Bhutto Zardari on Sunday unveiled the party's election manifesto for the upcoming general elections, here. Speaking at the manifesto launch ceremony, Bilawal said that his party will implement the manifesto if it wins the elections. The PPP chairman claimed the number of suicides in Punjab is the result of corruption prevailing in the province. Bilawal also said that if his party comes in power in the elections, it will end the policy of discrimination against ethnic communities. He said that if the PPP comes in power, it will abolish the so-called spot fines and will not impose quotas on the ethnic communities.
