Working people all over the world are always oppressed and deprived of their fair wages and other demands. In May, many civil society people spoke about this and the workers rallied with their various demands. The 1st of May is observed as International Workers' Day all over the world. This day is celebrated worldwide to highlight the right of communication, solidarity, and communication of workers. It is a deeply solemn day for fairness in employment, social justice, and workers' rights. The purpose of this day is to raise social awareness for workers' rights, and for workers' culture. I thank you honorable admin @f2i5 sir for organizing such an event about May Day. I invite you @jimiaera02 @neelofar @memamun to participate in this contest.

Challenges faced by workers in this digital era:

• Job Insecurity: Nowadays more population in our country and workers have to work with less wages or else there is a fear of job loss in the workers.

• Low Remuneration: In this time of rising inflation, it is not possible to meet the basic needs with wages as before but their wages are not increasing at work.

• Longer working hours: Although 8 hours of work is the norm according to the Labor Act, the workers are made to work longer hours in exchange for nominal overtime wages.

• Discrimination and Harassment: Female workers are still paid less than male workers and women face harassment.

• Benefits are limited: Employees are paid for their work by providing meager benefits such as provident fund, health care, savings, sick leave etc.
  After all, it is seen that even though there is a law for the workers, it is not fully effective and the workers are working in uncertainty, for this a good workers' union should be formed.

What benefits the workers are getting from the workplace are discussed below:

• Training facility : Training is being arranged to upskill the employees and allowances are provided during the training.

• Paid time off: Employees are provided basic salary benefits for weekends or sick leave, which helps to balance the life of the employees.

• Transport facility: Nowadays many organizations are providing transport facility for their employees to come to work on time which is a good aspect for the employees to get good transport environment.

• Maternity Leave: 6 months maternity leave is given to women workers and basic salary is provided which is a good benefit for women workers.

On the whole, employees are still not getting all their benefits, as a result of which the employees either procrastinate or are not interested in working attentively. A good working environment must be created and proper opportunities must be provided to get good work from the employees.
