Psalm 62 vs 11; God hath spoken once; twice have I heard this: that power belongs to God. This is simple. God made every power in the universe. The devil has power, but authority belongs to God. He is the one who gives us power and controls how we handle it. Yes, I believe in God's power, supremacy, and sovereignty. I believe that God is sovereign over evil powers, and one who has Him can overcome the evil of this world.

Numerous times in our everyday lives, there’s this need to feel God’s presence. Sometimes, we subconsciously call to Him because He is our last resort, even when we don’t want to admit it. It is seen when we call on God in times of trouble. How Jesus, "God help me" are the words we say when faced with a difficult situation.
One period that stood out for me and my family was in 2017, when I came back home during school break.

One evening, my sister and I woke up to my dad screaming and shouting in the room. We quickly rushed to see what was happening and found my mom so stiff and cold. We rushed to her side, trying to find out what the problem could be and how best we could salvage the situation. We found a neighbor who used his car to carry my mom to the hospital.
It felt like our world was going to crash that day. I remember seeing my dad pacing all over the hospital hall, waiting for the doctor to come out with some good news. I didn’t know what to do with myself while everyone was agitated, but to crouch down in a small corner and pray to God to do whatever He could to save my mom. After a long wait, the doctor came out to inform us that our mom would be okay. At that moment, the only thing that came to mind was how God had helped us.

As a believer, I believe in the power of God.
God exists and remains a mystery. All the power belongs to God. God owns and controls everything. Believing in God is where our faith comes into play, as seen in Heb 11:1, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen". We believe in God’s power even when it is not physical. We may not be able to explain how this power works, but it is real.

I see evil powers as described by the Bible: “The devil is moving to and fro, looking for whom to devour. Moving around, creating havoc, and afflicting the world with hardship, and sickness. Sometimes, we feel helpless and frustrated in these situations, but the promise of God in this verse, Luke 10:19, is, “Behold, I give unto you the power to tread on serpents and scorpions and over all the power of the enemy, and nothing shall by any means hurt you”.
