As the saying goes "Experience is the best teacher", so judging from this saying I can boldly say that experience is based on circumstances and not age. Age is a contributing factor but it's the circumstances that counts due to the fact that for every circumstance we face both good or bad, there's always something to learn from it and it makes us stronger and better people.
How do you define maturity? |

Maturity in my definition is definitely not tied to age or defined based on age factor.
Maturity is the ability for one to exhibit certain attributes and a sense of responsibility.
Maturity is not a product of age but a person's experience and value goes a long way to contribute to a person's level of maturity.
A mature person is more likely to be a person with high emotional intelligence, knowledgeable and responsible because of his or her experience, beliefs and values.

Well, in my own point of view, experience is not tied to our age but the circumstances we face, even though the age of a contributing factor because the older we grow the wiser we become and it's difficult to find an adult with zero life experiences because life will always teach us lessons directly or indirectly and the older ones will surely have more experience to relate than the younger ones, its the circumstances that counts for me because circumstance is not a respecter of age and we do not get to choose what we go through but life just happens. Most people are built as a result of circumstances and not age, most people attend maturity as a result of circumstances and experience and not age.
Do you believe older people can also learn so many things from youth? Justify. |

Yes, I believe the same way we have a lot to learn from the older generation, they top have a lot to learn from us. The world has evolved and learning too evolved. The youths have a lot to offer especially in the technology aspects, the improved level of technology this generation is only understood by youths and it's best interpreted by youths because they have better insights and ideas on it. Ideas from educational knowledge, research and lots more.

Well, in conclusion I'll say age is strong contributing factor to our experience and adults may tend to have more life experiences to share than the younger ones.

You're right dear. Experiences is both tied with age and circumstances. We're youths and you can't walk up to someone and tell him or her that you don't have any experience because you're too young. No, life challenges can teach us a lesson in one day making us have even more experience in life than the older people.
Older people should learn from us, because learning is everyday activities and routine as far as we're still breathing. Though sometimes may be difficult for the older people to accept our teachings because most of them will just look down on your age and status. You have a detailed post here.

A lot of people always think maturity deals with age but it does not deal with age. In fact there are a whole lot of people I have seen that is younger but are more matured than the older ones

Older people should learn from us, because learning is everyday activities and routine as far as we're still breathing.
