The lifestyle, whether metropolis of village, has been one of the debates I have always been motivated to join. I remember joining in a debate like this many times right from my primary education and well as secondary education. I have also been writing an essay in examination about this topic, the lifestyle I would prefer, whether metropolis or village life.
Before I proceed in my opinion of the lifestyle I would prefer, I will like @manuelhooks, @okere-blessing, and @mesola join in this challenge.
Which lifestyle do you prefer, a metropolis or a village? And why? |

I prefer the metropolis lifestyle. The reason why I prefer the metropolis lifestyle is as follows:
★ There is a well structured transport network in the city which city dwellers can use easily in moving from one place to another. The availability of railways, airports, seaports, and good roads makes it easy for those in the metropolis to move at any point in time without much stress.

★ Communication transmitters are rarely seen in the villages and that makes communication very difficult in the village than in the city, there are good communication networks which makes communication easier.

★ There is a good security system in the city compared to the village. At night, there are always police patrol or quick response to the urban dwellers when they need help from the security personnel which is difficult to get such help in the village because there is no provision for police patrol at night and quick response team.
★ Criminals are easily caught in the city because of cctv cameras.
★ There are business opportunities in the city, which is why most people always leave the village in the city in search of greener pasture.
★ There are beautiful houses in the city when compared to the village. There are entertainment centres in the city where people go in have good time with family and family and friends.

Some good and challenging side of my choice are:
◆ A lot of people leave the village to the cities in search of jobs and as a result of that the city is over-populated and crowded.
◆ There are good roads in the city with many viechles but the bad side is the rate of accidents in the city is much compared to the village where they have fewer or no accidents in their roads.
◆ I will agree that sometimes life in the city is stressful, unlike the villagers who live a less stressful life.
◆ Life is sweeter in the city for the rich and miserable for the poor whereas the poor in the village can assess to thier vegetables in the garden and other food crops.

I believe the environment can lifestyle can influence one's thoughts and processes because of exposure.
One who lives in a village will behave and act based on the village lifestyle, and even his or her mental will reflect the kind of environment him or her grew up.
It is undeniable that the environment affects our behaviours, the way we interact with others, and our emotions.
Whether we live in the city or in the village, our immediate environment influences our state of mind and actions.
Our dressing and grooming also reflect the kind of environment where we grew up. It is a taboo for village dwellers to dress in a way that expose their body parts, and as such, they dress in such a way that covers all part of the body. The urban dwellers see nothing wrong in wearing clothes that are revealing.

City life in general is always better than village life and that is why a lot of people migrate from village to city to achieve their dream.
The village life is not completely bad, but there are so many things lacking in village life, which is abundance in the city as listed in this article.

For sure life in the city is beautiful and attractive. The city presents to you so many opportunities especially for job seekers and social aminities to everyone unlike the village. Many people live comfortable and luxuriously in the city.
That's very true, the city although beautiful but has its own setbacks and increase crime wave which leaves one insecure than in the village.
Where we are definitely influences our thoughts and actions in many ways. Good luck in the contest
