Better Life with Steem|| The Diary Game||Ist July,2024
Hello all steemian friends and my respected colleagues in Incredible India community
I am very happy to inform you that my sister, who was working as Chief Eye Testing Officer in the Medical Department under the Chief Medical Officer in District Bulandshahar, retired on 30th June after completing 38 years of service in perfect health.
Since 30th June was Sunday, the offices could not be opened, the officers and their colleagues/subordinates there decided to give her an emotional farewell on 1st July. And since I too have retired from the same department as an officer and am also her brother, I was also requested by the department to attend this event.
I myself had been waiting for this auspicious day for a long time, and I could not ignore this invitation under any circumstances.
Just yesterday, my son had to go somewhere for some urgent work, so he took our car, that is why I had to travel by bus. These days, there is a severe heat wave in our area. Due to light rain, the level of humidity in the atmosphere has become very high, and this weather troubles me a lot. I get high allergy due to high humidity.
Anyway, coming to the real issue, I reached there at around 12.30 pm after travelling by bus in the morning. The event started at 1.30 pm.
First of all, in honour of my sister, all the officers and colleagues welcomed my sister by putting flower garlands around her neck, then honoured her by giving her many gifts.
All the colleagues present praised my sister's work and her contribution to the department with a very generous heart and in emotional words.
Many speakers became very emotional while speaking, and their eyes became moist, and to tell you the truth, these moments are a mixture of both emotion and happiness.
And finally my sister addressed the guests who had come to her farewell ceremony and slowly thanked all the officers, her colleagues, her associates and ended her address with teary eyes.
After this, everyone had lunch at around 4 o'clock, many dishes, many types of vegetables, like paneer dish, fried rice, ice cream, curd, snacks, cold drinks etc. were served. Everyone happily ate the food, and the event ended.
When I reached home from there, it was 8 o'clock in the night, and the bus journey had doubled my tiredness, but sometimes small sorrows have to be ignored for big happiness.

Well, a photographer was taking photos there and I will be able to show you all those photos some other time, but I had captured some photos on my mobile as well, I am showing you a collage of them.
I also want to invite here to read my post and leave their valuable comments .

What a big day for your sister!
After 38 years she now has closed another chapter of her life.
I do hope she is going to enjoy her retirement.
Best wishes!
Thank you Respected Madam, it is indeed a memorable day in life. It is a big event to retire from the responsibilities of a Government job after fulfilling it for a long time with honour.
Pleasure!☕
Thank you Sampa ji, the simplicity of your writing and your emotional comments impress me a lot. May God keep you very happy and give you progress.
Wao! Happy retirement to your dear one. May she enjoy rest on all side with good health and with abundance. I wish her the very best.
The smile and satisfaction of your sister on completion of tenor, show how splendidly she did her work. And obviously, leaving a place where you work for 38 years is painful, but in the end, if you quit it with honour and dignity, what could be better than this? Happy retirement to your beloved sister.
Many prayers and love for her.
I don't understand how you can say such mature things at such a young age, I am very impressed by your comments, and now I look forward to reading them every day. May Allah give you a long life.
Have you not read my sad story written in Steam Pakistan yet?
Thank you very much for every thing .
Well! This could be a complement. Each and every woman feels pride when someone calls him a young lady😂😂😂. But unfortunately, I'm in my late twenties, so no longer a young little girl.🥺
Hello my smallest friend from across the border,
These days people consider late 20s to be a very old age, oh this is just the beginning, there is a lot to see, learn and know, you might be thinking that I am preaching. But believe me, you are still very young.
But yes you are very intellectually developed and can outshine anyone.
I wish ,I can.
