Almost all of us know that stonecrop is essential for landscaping. Patharkuchi is a medicinal plant and belongs to the genus Beirut. The botanical name for stone-leaved Kalanchoe pinnata (Lamk.) Pers and its family, Crassulaceae. Kabilja calls this Patharkuchi strain 'Original Patharkuchi'. Sedum leaf is also known as moss in the scientific world. Patharkuchi leaves are also called miracle leaves due to their many medicinal properties.

Another type of Patharkuchi is called Original Patharkuchi by Union Municipality. Botanical name Bergenia ligulata Wall, Saxifrageaceae.
