The November contest #2 by @sduttaskitchen| Which is your preference, Quality or Quantity?
There are two things that a person needs to pay attention to in doing something, namely quality and quantity. Both are interrelated and difficult to separate from each other. Quality is supported by quantity, and vice versa.
Quality and quantity itself is a comparative measurement theory used to compare something. These two terms are often found in everyday conversation, especially in discussions that discuss products or businesses.
In the business world, quality is considered more important than quantity. This is because companies must maintain the trust of their consumers. If the quality is poor, customer trust in the products sold will decrease and end up harming the company.
However, as explained, quality and quantity actually support each other. Both need to go hand in hand to produce good products that are useful for society.
Negotiation or bargaining often colors everyday life. For example, when buying rambutan at the fruit market. Many buyers bargain over the price of the rambutan. So there is interaction between the seller and the buyer.
Buying the needed items at a cheaper price is certainly fun. The remaining money can be used for other important things. However, if you make a wrong bargain, it is not impossible that the seller will get angry and we will not get the items we need.
Usually, quantity is often used as a value/amount that is calculated with certainty. Be it the amount, shape, or benchmark. So simply put, quantity means a unit that describes the size of the number of things that can be counted with certainty.
If we say yes to everything, it will be very difficult to realize a life that is more focused on quality. Re-arrange our priorities by daring to say no to others and to all the things that are not valuable to us. In fact, the people who really care about us do not want us to force ourselves for them.
A minimalist lifestyle is a concept of living with few but quality items. A person with this lifestyle will live with only the items he needs so that he can utilize a few items. In short, a minimalist lifestyle prioritizes quality over quantity. Less is more is a sentence that describes this lifestyle.
