Hi steemians,
Welcome to week 5 of the steemit engagement challenge for season 7. It is obvious that the season is gradually drawing to an end and I'm so delighted to have followed the entire process from the beginning till this very point. The engagement challenge has helped me as a person to develop more relationships with other steemians through upvoting and commenting.

Just like every other week, this week has also brought with it a wonderful topic of discussion titled way to stay balanced during the time of stress. There are many ways to stay balanced during the period of stress and I will be highlighting a few of these ways in my article today. Without further ado, let's get started.

What do you do to stay balanced in times of stress?

Stress as we all know is an emotional pressure that one suffers due to many factors. In other to stay balanced during stress, you need to abandon your problem for some time and then try to hang out with friends and have some quality time with them. More also, eating good food and drinking good wine will help to ease your stress as well.

If you are stressed and you want to stay balanced just leave the work that you are doing that is causing this stress and then go to a different place where you can be entertained such that you will laugh and forget your problems, it can be a comedy show, a dance show or even a party. This will help you greatly to stay balanced in times of stress.

Give three main reasons behind our stress?

Stress can be caused by several things and a few of the causes of stress include meeting a target, competition with others, and pressure from employees.

Meeting a target can be based on personal pressure or pressure by an employee. Everyone in life has some sort of target they wish to meet within a given period. If this target is not met you will notice that the person won't be at peace with himself or herself for a long time. He/she will always be thinking of ways to meet the target before the deadline. So meeting a target is one of the major reasons for stress.

Competition with others
It is another cause of stress. You will agree with me that many people in life are competing with one another without remembering that the graces we have are different. Some people go the extra mile to in other ensure that they are better than their competitors. During this period, somethings they overwork themselves and may even get sick in the process because their system is not adjusted to such a demanding task.

Another main cause of stress is the pressure from employees. Sometimes, when you are given a marketing job, you will be told that you will be paid according to what you can earn and in another scenario, you will be given a deadline to meet a certain target. If you are unable to meet such a target and the deadline is drawing nearer, you will notice much pressure on yourself because you want to have your aim achieved.

Do you think now we should take this problem seriously? If so, then describe why?

The problems or causes of stress listed above should be taken seriously because stress on its own won't allow you to think straight and then the output that you will always get as a result of stress is not always favourable. This means that when you are stressed, the maximum output that should be produced won't be there.

So in other to make a better output at any period, we should know how to keep ourselves stress-free to enable us to think and maximize the usage of all our abilities to obtain a more tangible result. In so doing, we will be healthy and strong to function well. Stress can lead to many sicknesses and possibly death. So it's better to stay stress-free and live a healthy and long life.

Stress is seen when we decided to labour ourselves because of a certain target. Most times, we tend to give a deadline as to when we must achieve something and since we have a deadline, we will then overwork ourselves without rest at all. This causes illness and sometimes may lead to death. When you feel stressed, leave the work you are doing that causes you stress and do some outdoor activities such as playing games, going to parties, comedy shows etc. I want to invite @solaymann, @sualeha, @petface, @chant and @ngoenyi to join the contest.

Hello My Friend, @simonnwigwe this was an amazing post on how to stay balanced during times of stress. You really opened up our eyes to the many different ways we can manage during periods of uncertainty. I especially love the idea of taking a break and investing in some quality time with our friends and family. It's a great way to shift our focus away from our worries and rest necessary for regaining balance when everything feels disordered.

I remember during the early stages of the global pandemic when I was feeling overwhelmed by all the changes that were going on around me. I started taking walks in the park, meeting old friends in person (while social distancing of course!), and doing yoga at home. Doing these activities helped me rediscover my center and truly relax.

Me gusto este punto y que de verdad muchas personas lo aplican, competir con otros. Creo que la única competencia debe ser con nosotros mismos, el no cumplir un objetivo en una fecha determinada es realmente estresante porque lo he vivido, en fin el stress debemos tomarlo muy en serio por el bien de nuestra salud.

Hola amigo, como bien dices el estrés se aparta un poco de nosotros cuando decimos identificarlo. Debemos aprender a detectar el momento en el que estamos estresados para así tomar las medidas correctas para despejar nuestra mente.
