Steem engagement challenge-S12/W6|"The grand festival in my country."
Introduce : I am shahariar1 from #Bangladesh
Date :04 October 2023
Greetings and greetings from the bottom of my heart to everyone reading my post from anywhere in the world. Hope everyone is doing well. Today I am going to discuss with you about the biggest festival of Bangladesh. 95% of the people of Bengal are Muslims and 5% are people of other religions.
Various major festivals including Eid-ul-Fitr, Eid-ul-Azha, Pahela Baishakh and Hindu Durga Puja are seen in this country. As I am a Muslim I will discuss with you about our religious festival Eid-ul-Azha. Hope you like my post.
I think the most amazing festival of my country is Eid-ul-Azha. There is a religious tradition to observe this day. This festival is celebrated by observing rituals.
This day has been observed since the era of our beloved Prophet Ibrahim Alai Salam. Almighty Allah showed Ibrahim alaihis salam in a dream to sacrifice his son as a test. Then he prepared to sacrifice the ideal child of Allah. And at the time of sacrifice, Allah Ta'ala removed his child by His power and placed an animal under His sword. From that day onwards this day is celebrated by performing animal sacrifices.
The sacrificial meat is divided into three parts. One part is kept for their own family. Another share is distributed among relatives who cannot sacrifice. And another part. The meat is distributed among the poor and needy.
And before performing the Qurbani, everyone gathers in the huge Eidgah Maidan to offer two Rakats of Eid-ul-Azha prayers.
On this day we all prefer to gather together in our village houses on holidays to celebrate the festival.
We buy one animal each and sacrifice it on that day. And distribute the meat of the animal to the poor. We eat and drink some meat together with our family. Celebrate the day by buying new clothes for everyone in the family.
No matter where you work in your career, everyone comes to everyone's house on this festival. I celebrate this festival with my family and people of my village.
I remember a memorable incident on this festival day. Last Eid all my uncles wanted to buy cows for slaughtering. Since beef is high in other animal cholesterol, including meat. Harmful to the body for children and the elderly. I advised everyone to buy Sagar in Qorbani.
As I said, everyone buys goats and sacrifices them. We all sacrificed a goat together. It rained a lot that day. Our work for the rain Despite the disruption, we had a great time. I am sharing with you some photographs of the time.
Sacrifice is done by the pleasure of Allah Ta'ala and by His command. And since 95% of people in Bangladesh are Muslims, this drug is the biggest festival in Bangladesh. Hope you like this festival of my country.
And we invite you to share your country's festival with us.
