Greetings to all. How are you all of my dear friends? I am also fine. Today I have enjoyed some special moment with my little brothers.

Maa Durga idol preparation is going on in our temple. Durga Puja will start soon. And we call Durga Puja during this period as Basanti Puja.

According to calendar rules or according to tithi our Durga Puja will start after only 8 days. And today is the day of banana cutting on the occasion of Basanti or Durga Puja.

Since i have slept for a long night, in a word, it is early in the morning. So I was a little late in getting up in the morning. I could hear my uncle talking about it while I was in bed.

And many people are needed to harvest this banana. Because these banana kadhis have to be carried to the temple.

Almost all the people are currently engaged in agricultural work, so the population is a little less. I joined my younger brothers to increase the number of people.

Sixty five houses of Sanatan Dharmalamambi live in our neighborhood. And everyone participates in this puja spontaneously. So it can be seen that those who have banana gardens, are prepared in advance to offer bananas for this puja.

Don't just cut the banana. Carry these bananas and reach the temple. So as usual, I along with my younger brothers left for the temple with banana and chopper in hand.

Next to the Durga temple is the Govinda temple. We arranged the bananas on the porch of Govinda Mandir. When the bananas are harvested from our neighborhood, they are arranged and hung in a row behind the idol of Mother Durga.

We have not always held that our puja starts from the day of cutting the banana in one word. And during the puja, everyone in our neighborhood is a vegetarian.

Religious processions are organized for Durga Puja. A lot of money has to be spent for Durga Puja. Since this is our public Durga temple, everyone in the village is united as collaborators by paying money here.

The idol is being prepared. And this first is almost at the final stage of preparation now. Earthwork may be completed today. After this soil dries up, the soil will be coated once again.

At the last stage, chalky clay coating will be given. Then the idol will be painted. Hand painting is not done as it used to be. Dyeing is done using machines so it takes less time.
